Saints Vs The Mighty Falcons Round One

I could care less what a division rival current record is. Because it's not just any given Sunday with division rivals..... Division rivals sometimes know more about you, then you do your own self. Sometimes they blow chunks all season long, but look great against you.

I remember the saints Superbowl year. played great. Won a lot. But then played the buccs who looked like dirt crap. And the buccs won.

So can the saints beat us? Yep.

Do I see the falcons as a better team outside of playing one on one in this division, of course. Because of how they are doing it and because of the record. But when it comes to facing your division rival, sometimes they can beat you regardless that you are own your way to a ring.

I think the saints will play very well but on paper the falcons should be too much. I see a close game at the half but the inexperience of the saints d showing its age in the second as the falcons pull away. I'd feel better if it was a neutral site though, the Superdome hasn't exactly been friendly when the whole country can watch.

The Falcons should win this game easily imo. Our secondary is not good and should be easy pickings for JJ and MR. Defensively the Falcons will probably be able to get consistent pressure on DB, especially on the right side of the line. Falcons look impressive through the first 4 weeks and we've looked below average. I'd be shocked if the Saints can manage to keep this game close past 2 quarters, our once mighty offense looks like a shell of its former self and to be quite honest, the Falcons are just more talented. I sincerely hope we beat the sh!t out of them, but I'm calling it now lol...Falcons win 36-21.

Saints are pretty stout vs the run. So i don't see us getting away with the run game.

White is basically a non issue for you all. Could cover him with the water boy Ryan never throws to him.

Hankerson has iffy hands.

Double Jones and this Game might be close.

Im call it now. The rivalry lives on. Saints get a upset. Saints have been the 1 team we cant come back against.

Traditionally the score is very close is these games. Many times as few as a field goal.

I think we split with the Saints this year.

We also just demolished a team. Usually teams don't play well after they do that.

this team is very young on defense and has the top 2 corners in terms of flags called against them. Breaux can play he just needs to learn that the rules in the NFL differ from that of the CFL and you will get flagged for contact beyond 5 yards. So, while I don't doubt that this game could potentially be close, imo Breesus is going to have to return in this one in order for that to happen. We're gonna need vintage Brees and multiple players to step up on offense and defense. If we can't generate a run game then were toast. ATL WILL score 30 or more, so the Saints need their best offensive game to win this one.

The better team doesn't always win these games. Payton has a hatred for us. Im not sure the new coaching staff has 1 for them yet. There was a lot of shots fired with Smith vs payton.

You just never know. I have a feeling the saints lose to the Eagles and beat us in a close one. As i said. Saints are the 1 team we normally cant pull a comeback against.

I was impressed with how well your d played vs Dallas. They said 9 of the 11 starters were rookies? That's insane. Growing pains will happen but it bodes well for the future.

there's some bright spots for sure on D, mainly Kikaha, Anthony, and Richardson. They'll make plays in that game but they'll also make plenty mistakes.

Add Bureaux, Swann, Davison to that. Once K Lewis gets back to speed I don't see how Browner can start.

Browner needs to warm the bench, not cause he sucks but cause RR doesn't know how to use him. He's a press corner who finds success when he's able to use his physicality and jam the receiver at the line, too many times I've seen him 10-15 yards off his man. Same goes for Breaux, I think he'd be most successful as a press corner, dude has some vice grips on him. But yea, Breaux, Swann, and Davison also have potential. I think Davison will start to come along nicely as the year progresses.
