Kayoh
If you're one of those generic "PFF is a joke" people, nobody cares and you are wasting your own and everybody else's time. If you have a specific grade to refute, don't just tell everybody how wrong it is, bring evidence. Those of you that consistently appreciate my posting these grades, I'm happy to do it. FenixFalcon
You need to change your sig my friend. 2014 has come and gone.Interesting to see how everyone is doing per PFF so far overall. It's pretty obvious where the final pieces of the roster are needed upgraded at if you've watched the games. PFF reflects this fairly well, although I think Coleman, Schofield and Southward have all been better than their grades. Funny that Beasley is the only one with a *green* positive pass rush score...tells ya we need another one on the other side now. Romfal
all about that Stup life. Guy is making the most out of his opportunities this year. He was all over the field on ST's on Sunday too. Has 5 of our 18 ST tackles.

Bruce Irvin still sounding pretty good. Also I imagine LB(either Mike or Will) can be upgraded early in the draft if we have a chance to get someone like Myles Jack as well as TE and FS. All showing up on the PFF grades.
Kayoh
Nobody takes PFF seriously. you know, except for the 19 NFL COACHING STAFFS that use their services.

The last 2 years in Seattle Quinn used Avril and Bennett in alternating roles where depending on where the TE lined up, one might be a base end one play and a LEO the next. Kayoh
They might use it as a small suppliment at best. At the end of the day nobody is going to take these pencil necks who have probably never even played back-yard football seriously. Do you take Ray Hamilton seriously? How about Ken Anderson? Jim McNally? PFF's grades are all verified by the Pro Coach Network. Those guys I just listed are a part of it. If you want a list of who all is in the network, here you go. Kayoh
The vast majority don't actually take PFF seriously though. Aaron Rodgers 5 TD, O interceptions, and 300+ yards and he got a negative grade because some dweebs in a room though he "didn't do enough work" lol. That tells you all you need to know. 1. He didn't receive a negative grade. His grade for that game was +0.7. 2. PFF doesn't grade for pre-snap reads/audibles/etc, and that's where Rodgers was the most impressive against KC. PriMeTiiMe
Babs with a +1.5 Coverage rating. Somewhere in the world Mike Nolan is having a wet dream of dropping back Babs as our deep safety.

Duff_Man
Nobody takes PFF seriously.Either way, it is still fun to look at the numbers. No fan should take anything seriously because they don't coach, nor are they part of the team. But hey...be a contrarian d-bag all your life. I am sure it will work out for you. paulitik
I've seen a lot of PFF stats that made no sense. It's far from perfect, but it shouldn't be taken as the end all be all. It should be used as a metric to complement the eye test. I feel the same way about passer rating, and QBR. Stats will never be perfect. gHost83
Collins over Beasley at the moment. Should cause a stir, LOL. Hmmm, maybe Collins isn't as bad as a lot of this board thinks...
vel
I love how our OL is the best OL per PFF with the 4th best pass blocking grade, yet only two players are above a +1.0 grade.
delaigle
Collins has played like 5 snaps. That is one of the flaws in their grading systemplay a few snaps good and you will rate out better than a starter who plays every snap goodalso I've seen where different players get different grades for the same playI use to use the site but no moreHowever I do admit that they do try hard to do it well
dirtyhairy
Brooks Reid is going to be coming off the edge soon. Clayborn and Sho will also be rushing from the outside. We should be OK, but we will certain look at Bruce in FA and re sign the talent on 1 year deals. Look for a stud DE and another LB in the draft.
