Trouble
Roddy White expressed discontent with his role in the Falcons' offense, saying he wants "to catch passes."White believes he has been getting open, but said he is "not in the progression" for Matt Ryan. White has two catches total in the last three games and has been targeted just five times. He is clearly behind Leonard Hankerson in the pecking order right now, and unless these comments change something, he should continue to play behind Handerson moving forward. White can be dropped in redraft leagues. Well we are 4-0 and WR`s are getting healthy. Maybe he was a end of year target encase Jones went down. Maybe he is on his way out? Hard to say, but we can say he isnt being used.
Trouble
I haven't been impressed with hankerson. But i also wasn't with White when he first came. The new staff has been aggressive with making changes. We probably need to restructure his deal anyways. But him and Jones have been a duo. So i don't think you just cut him if he can go. Sounds like he wants to prove he can play. not like hankerson is setting the bar high with YAC. Rave
I would take White as a #3 (#2 right now). Ship him to Dallas.

Rave
He showed he can still play which you failed to show his stats for the 1st game...in typical Rave styleHe cannot catch what isn't thrown his way. The new and improved running game is going to take some catches away from our WRs and right now that WR is Roddy...but don't sleep on that being a fact for the entire season. Typical WFW...You said he is worth more than a late round pick. On talent I agree, however, who would pay top price for a player that is being underutlize. The Falcons can't ask for top dollar for a player they don't even value enough to get involved in the offense.
Joremarid
It's about value. Roddys value to Dallas would be a whole lot more compared to his value here. Y'all need him more then we need to move him. High round draft pick or take your chances with what you got.

Says ravens and cowboys interested, but never said if falcons were interested in moving him. I would think anyone, outside of Rodgers, luck, and maybe Brady at this point could be got for the right price, but falcons don't really have the motivation to move him. mashburn*Fibonacci
As long as hankerson isn't dropping a lot, I'm fine. But those first three games I was troubled. That's the only reason I say to play someone else. But I like it to be white because of who he is.
mashburn*Fibonacci
2 catches on 5 targets in 3 games says differentHe is doing a great job blocking on the run. But is that worth 6/year? If they are not going to target him. Then trade him for a 6th. And bank that extra money to something else next year. Right now, white could give us 10 million in a trade to go towards next year. And that could get you a decent lb, TE. But manly I want a back up quarter back. Right now the falcons are looking at having 7 role over to next year. So that's 14 next year. Then after signing rookies, we will be at 10 to spend. But with a white trade, that would be 20 to spend next year.
mashburn*Fibonacci
Shanahan had to deal with another loud mouth in Washington (RG3). This won't end well for Roddy. hmmm that is something to think on. Only thing was different head coach, manager, owner. And Roddy has been a Falcon at heart for a long time. But then again shannahan is the one to design the play.
Trouble
OK now, it’s settled — Roddy White is totally and completely gruntled. The Falcons veteran wide receiver said Thursday that he met with coach Dan Quinn about his role in the offense, after comments that could reasonably be construed as dissatisfaction with becoming a third option in the passing game. And he swears he’s OK with that.“It’s really not a controversy,” White said, via D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “My role is what it is. I’ve talked to DQ and we’ve gotten past that. It’s just certain things that just get out into the media and certain people just take it way too far. I’m on positive note. We are 4-0 and that’s what it is right now.”Of course, that’s a whole lot different than earlier this week, when he expressed displeasure with the amount of blocking he was doing, now that Leonard Hankerson has emerged as the No. 2 option behind Julio Jones.White, the Falcons all-time leading receiver, has six catches for 92 yards for the undefeated Falcons. And at the moment, he has other concerns, as he missed practice Wednesday to be with his mother, who had surgery. White said she’s “doing well,” which is certainly good news. But his position coach also said White’s not grumbling behind the scenes.“My room is good,” veteran assistant Terry Robiskie said. “Everybody is good. Everybody is having fun. Rod is the same guy. He doesn’t catch his 12, 20 balls, but at the same time we score a touchdown he’s high-fiving we were up in the third quarter the starters were done.”“I saw him on the sideline high-fiving with Eric Weems, joking with Eric Weems. Winning is fun. No matter what a prideful guy you are, when getting your’re *** whipped, ain’t no pride in that. You are miserable.”And White, no matter what he might have said, apparently is not.UPDATED!!!!!!!************************************************************************************************
