Not Sure If Anyone Mentioned This Little Tidbit, But I Will Anyway ....

Check this out -

Week 3

Quarter 3 = Falcons scored 8 points, Cowboys 0 points

Quarter 4 = Falcons scored 14 points, Cowboys 0 points

Week 4

Quarter 1 = Falcons scored 7 points, Texans 0 points

Quarter 2 = Falcons scored 21 points, Texans 0 points

Quarter 3 = Falcons scored 14 points, Texans 0 points

8+14+7+21+14 = 64 POINTS

Over 5 quarters = 64 UNANSWERED Points.

Incredible.

Oh - and if you add in the fact that we kicked a field goal to end the 2nd quarter in week 3, that's actually 67 straight points without allowing a single point.

Go Defense - and Offense!

Rise Up!

WOW ignore game 1 and game 2 then just draw lines anywhere say 2nd half of game 3 and after 3rd qtr of game 4

But the Texans did answer with 21 points in 4th quarter ( yea against many backups)

so subtract 21 from your 84

You missed the entire point of the post.

I wasn't giving total stats - but pointing out that 5 quarters went by without allowing a single point. Show me where we did this last year, the year before?

In fact, show me the last time we did this while scoring 60+ points? I'm curious now.

Some more HUGE tit bits:

Birds are 2nd in 3rd down conversions

3rd in total first downs

3rd in points per game

1st in rushing td's

3rd in sacks allowed

And have ZERO FREAKIN fumbles.

The defensive stats are middle of the road, but Quinn cares more about getting back ups game time than stats....and the defense has played way better than stats indicate.

Those are HUGE FREAKIN TIT BITS

Not I did not

it's just sooo arbitrary EX

HEADLINES Texans score 21 unanswered point to start the 4th qtr

see I can draw lines also

you look --I'm not a clerk

Scoring 60+ unanswered points across five quarters - particularly when one of the teams against which you played has one of the best front 7's in football - doesn't feel like an arbitrary statistic. Feels like the team is gelling in a way I'm excited about!

Yeah, of course, you could put that up as a headline for the Texans. But it doesn't hold up under further scrutiny. Tandy's stat does.

WTF? Just how many times do you think a team has gone 5 quarters and outscored the opposition 64 to nothing? It's something worth noting.
