rightsaidfred
I posted earlier that I wanted to see the Falcons win convincingly over a team that they should beat. Even though I wasn't thinking the Texans would play as poorly as they did, this was exactly what I was referring to. I was thinking more of a team like TB (all due respect) that is just not a good football team. I want to see a team that doesn't play "down" to their opponent's level. Coming out after halftime yesterday, Quinn & Co. kept the throttle wide open and stepped on their throats. It wasn't fun seeing our 2's get pushed around in the 4th Q, but the game was over and it was good experience for them to play against the top tier of the Texans. I hope to see this continue all season: - We won't win every game, but I hope we see this:- 100% effort against teams that are (on paper at least) better than we are. - Against teams that are equal - we have to want it more - And as to the "lesser" teams, we should beat them soundly. In other words; whatever team we play, we play OUR game, not an effort based on who THEY are. This mentality has been missing for some time Edited October 5, 2015 by rightsaidfred
HASHBROWN3
DQ has the team believing in themselves and in his system. Did you see the last play of the game against Houston? The video/gif showed a literal swarm of falcon red-n-black uniforms chasing the ball at full throttle!I bet there were at least 9 guys around that ball just flowing with the play. On the LAST SNAP of regulation! The announcer even mentions it.
