texasfalconfan
Ok let me premise this I'm sitting on aane waiting to take off and bored but I though we are a serious contender this year and wondered if gonzo has anything left and would want to come back for a chance at a ring again. With Julio freeman roddy and gonzo who could cover them.

likeriver
I honestly would OK with that. Bring him in. Let him train for a month, then put him on the field. That dude stays in shape. Edited October 5, 2015 by likeriver
trubirdfan4life
No....he should have done that 2 years ago with new england or denver or seattle

falconidae
This offense is designed to have all the skill position players to block well- never Gonzo's forte.No.

paulitik
It's a nice thought, but no. If we make any mid-season move for a TE, we should offer something for Martellus Bennett.
Tuggle'2
Love Gonzo, will always love Gonzo, would really want to hate hate hate hate Gonzo if he even tried to pop back on the team.
Nono
Answer this, did Tony not file his retirement papers on purpose to mess with us at the end of the his last season? or was that incorrect and it didn't cost us his cap money
likeriver
So I'm genuinely curious why nobody would want Gonzo on the team. I imagine the reasons are diverse but only 1 person has provided one so far, which is that he wouldn't be a good fit (poor blocking). I mean, is it related to his skill, or something against his personality? Edited October 5, 2015 by likeriver
BackForThe2ndTime
Would work really well with his new documentary. That's for sure. I'm cool with Gonzo. I'm over the potshots he took on his way out and I think this team learned a lot from him. I'm grateful but naaaawww. At least we got him a playoff win. Brewcrew
No way. He was pretty rusty that last season after sitting out for just training camp. I would hate to seem him after a year and a half in the broadcast booth. Also he would have to learn an entirely new offense, not just jump back into the old one. We are fine.
Monolith2001
Loved Tony G when he was here but his time has passed. We need to work on the future and Tamme will be back soon and other than false starts last game Toilolo has played well enough. I give lengthy responses
I'd take him. An old Tony Gonzalez is still Tony Gonzalez. He doesn't need to be what he was, but I bet he would still be an asset in the red zone
MAD597
No, we don't need him, he became kind of an *** you our team after he left. No dice, this is not the kind of team where walk on Vets can come strolling in at mid season. We have a good solid team no reason to disrupt that. The Martyr
As much as I loved Gonzo, I think he's done. He could probably still play physically, but I think he let go mentally after that last brutal season with the Falcons.
