Doobs
Great teams blow bad teams out. Mediocre teams eke out a win while both teams blow. It's still early, but Atlanta is passing the eye test so far. Carolina isn't.So your saying we were a great team last year because we blew out the bucs???
Carl927
So your saying we were a great team last year because we blew out the bucs???I said "bad." The 2014 Bucs were considerably worse than bad.
NCFalconfan
Today on sports talk radio I about wrecked my car in laughter when former Panther now radio host Frank Garcia announced that maybe two qb's are out playing Newton this year- Rodgers and Brady and he wouldn't trade Cam for either. Never mind your 30th passing...Carologic is alive and well folks.
TsuTsu
I'd say the falcons look better in the 1st 4 games compared to the panthers. The panthers win close games, while we seem to be able to add up points. If we both keep it up it'll come down to when we play later in the year. Guest Negatorris
Doesn't matter who Carolina has faced. It's all about matchups. And recently our OL hasn't been able to match up with their DL.

stizz
As I said yesterday, I live in NC and get a first hand look. They remind me a TON of us in 2010. Good record, but always squeaking out wins no matter who the opponent. Their offense is nothing more than Greg Olsen and Cam's ability to extend a play. allknowing
I haven't heard anyone talking about Cam as potential MVP, just Rodgers. That bears aid, Carolina doesn't have any offensive talent right now, and has been without Kuechley for 3 weeks, and still winning. They're good.it was a topic on first take last week and makes no sense at all
The O.D.B
I'm not at all impressed with them. However, I wasn't impressed with them prior to our last game last year. Then we played them and well, you know. Funny that the NFL lined up our games with them at the end of the season, It's almost like they knew it would come down to us and them. Falc_Fan_Since_Six
I'd just like to say I've never been impressed by the panties since they came into the league. Don't we virtually own them still head to head? Don't even get me started on what a joke Scam is......
AtlantaFalconPokerPro
I hate the Panthers offense. So gimmicky.

Their defense can absolutely disrupt us, but our defense can absolutely disrupt theirs. They have one of the worst offenses in the league
Da_Truth
Panthers are alright. They're taking care of business just like we are. We'll see who takes the division down the road.
Emhoward
We haven't played anyone yet, we'll see how good we are. Seattle, Philly, Ind, GB. If we go at least 2-2 we're a playoff team and can compete, if we go 1-3, or 0-4 then we were frauds the whole time. It's hard to say now. If I were to make a prediction, provided you guys stay healthy, I have y'all winning the division and us taking a wildcard. Oh and I see some falcons fans are still in denial about Cam. He's a joke? Really? You may not think he's a top ten QB. You may not believe he's better than Ryan. You may not even think he's a franchise QB. But a joke? lol

Once his wheels are gone, so will he be. He's a good athlete but never will be a true QB. We've been here before with Vick. We know em when we see em. " Mobile" QB's ( real or joke) hardly ever last long in the NFL. Edited October 6, 2015 by Falc_Fan_Since_Six
Sui_Generis
Carolina is 4-0 just like the Falcons. Nothing more. Nothing less. You can only play who is on the schedule. On another note, those guys in their forum are crazy. Can for MVP? Lol. Saying Cam is better than Brady and Rodgers. Lol. Those guys are insane. They talk about all the weapons he doesn't have but fail to mention the defense and lucky plays they do have. ( see Dickson last week). So will Cam. "He wil never be a true QB". What does that even mean? "Mobile QB's hardly last long?" Cam is 5 years in, so give me number, what is "not lasting long"? When will Cam finally bust? When will the NFL finally have enough tape to figure him out? Year 9? 13? Your problem is that you keep comparing Vick to Cam. They're not the same. Mobility doesn't make them the same player. But he has nothing on O but Olsen, this can't be denied. Ted Ginn, Philly brown. Those are our receivers. Cam is working miracles out there. And lucky plays? I can only recall one "lucky" play and you mentioned it. A texans Offensive lineman bumps into Foster, causing the fumble, the football stumbles toward Trufant, he scoops it up in stride and runs it in for a Td. Sounds like a little luck to me. We know how this story ends.If it's just a mobile QB thing then fine, not much I can say about that. I just took exception to him calling Cam a joke when he's clearly not. And since you know how the story ends, can you let me know? Give me some type of time table so I can be prepared. I mean this is his 5th NFL season, when will it come crumbling down? I hate to players get injured but the fact is that if a QB chooses to start roaming around outside the pocket and running downfield then they are fair game. You take mobility away from Scam and he becomes at best a fair QB if I could even call him that. And if he's ever injured long term he may turn into a "joke" of a QB, but he isn't one now like the person I was originally responding to said. He's been far from a joke. conalthomas
Let's worry about the Redskins. We can worry about them if we want, but in reality it doesn't make any difference what we do. So, if it makes you happier, by all means worry. If on the other hand, you prefer to start assuming a Super Bowl win, have at it. Just be prepared for possible disappointment in the later case. falconidae
150 passing yards and 50 rushing yards, 2 TDs and a lost fumble ain't going to cut it against the good teams. If they raise their game against the teams they play next few week, be impressed by the Panthers, until then, I'll withhold judgement. Same with my birds- got to be consistent.Personally, I hope the Falcons sweep the the Panthers regular season, then, meet them again in the playoffs and beat them a 3rd time.
