The Cam MVP talk is real in the Charlotte area, with that said it shouldn't be taken seriously because Panther fans live in a bubble and don't watch the rest of the league. Seriously, just talk football with them sometime and it becomes apparent very quickly that they only watch the Panthers and Sports Center highlights if even that.

I agree you play the schedule, but if you want to compare two teams against each other you can't discount things like the same Texan team that we could have maybe dropped 60+ on yesterday had we not called off the dogs was inside the Panthers 20 with less than a minute to go down by 7. Same for the Brees less Saints last week. We'll have to see how it plays out, but I just don't think that a 50% completion percentage and 140 yards a game with hardly any running attack is going to win against the SEA, GB, or ATL. None of those teams are going to trip over their own ***** all day on offense for you either like JAX, HOU, and TB does as well.

And what Atlanta did to Houston yesterday while hardly involving Julio should cause Panthers fans to break out in a cold sweat if they could pull their heads out of their ***** long enough to watch what anyone else not named Carolina is doing.

Whatever you may think, their front 7 and Josh Norman is playing amazingly. Their O line is bad. That is a concern for them and for the health of Cam.

If you watched the games we played this year you notice one thing, the game plan is different, even though there isn't scheme change adjustments during half time,

players are adjusting themselves and are playing better in the second half.

Based on that alone, I say we will win against Panties.

All you need to do is go on carolinahuddle and see how up themselves they are and how much they talk us down.

Constantly saying we have only beaten bad teams even though they have only beaten even worse teams less impressively.

Numerous threads about how they are atop the NFCS even though that is only because they have played the Bucs and Saints.

I don't get this Newton MVP talk either, he has played probably par for the course for a decent QB which since it is him is getting way over hyped.

Norman is very good and I hope he chases bigger money at a different team next year.

This one ESPECIALLY makes no sense to me

Wha...??

Dallas Cowboys = NFC Champ Contender Super Bowl Favorite.

Philadelphia Eagles = Preseason NFC division winner and Super Bowl Favorite.

New York Giants = NFC East Contender and possible NFC Champion Contender.

And to Add, two of those wins are on the road.

I mean those teams are tougher than who the Panthers have played but lets not pretend like the Eagles havent been a huge disappointment and the Cowboys weren't missing Romo Dez Hardy Mcclain Scandrick etc...

Giants win was legit though.

The Panthers offense is pretty anemic. They are 30th in the NFL in passing (no real surprise there since Newton is not a good passer). They are leaning on Jonathan Stewart who hasn't been healthy since 2011, yet he is getting a career high in attempts per game. The defense is playing better than expected, but they haven't hit a really potent offense yet.

Thanks to league parity, the Falcons' schedule is way easier in the immediate future than theirs. By the time we meet in Week 14, it might not even matter.

Stewart has been bog average as well

Add on Newton is their leading rusher

Dallas with no Romo or Dez and with Weeden as the starting QB. Enough said right there.

Philly NFC Preseason Division Winner and Super Bowl favorite? LOL so? What have they done this year? Nothing...

Giants NFC East Contender? Possible NFC Champion Contender? WHAT HAVE THEY DONE THIS YEAR? Not a whole helluva lot. (this was our best win in my opinion)

Texans at home with garbage Ryan Mallet as their QB and a banged up Arian Foster.

Granted road wins aren't easy and i'll give them props for that, but wtf is with the "Superbowl favorite" and "NFC East Contender" talk? I don't care what any of these teams did last year or what their projection was. Its a new year. What have they done for me lately.

Let's not pretend like the other teams aren't better than a Drew Brees'less Saints team which is the best team the Panthers have played either.

Glad you realized Road wins are tough to get.

However... a 1 and 3 Tampa and a Brees'less Saints that came within one position of winning are their division wins. Not sure if we need to bring up Jacksonville...

Now let's talk about common opponents so far, Texans. Carolina Holds on to win a one possession game. Falcon Butt F--- the same team and make the coach sound like an idiot in his post game interview.

What My point is, "to this point" the Falcons have been the better of the two. With that said, This will be settled "on the field" as we play them twice later this year.

This is not college football where style points count. A win in the NFL is not easy and the panties or us have nothing to be ashamed concerning who we play. A win is a win and you go on to the next game. Add up all the w's and l's and that is what you are and nobody can take it away.

I love hearing fans talk about how they were the best 6 win team in the history of football but they played a tough schedule. Well, you weren't that good because you can only play the games on the schedule.

I didn't "realize" road wins are tough to get. Everyone knows that lol. But its kind of hard to give so much significance to winning a road game, when your opponent is without their starting QB and #1 WR.

Have our wins been better than Carolinas? Yes. Never said it wasn't

But like i said, its not like we have beaten some real power houses either.

Yes, Dallas did not have their #1 QB or their #1 WR and the Falcons did exactly what good teams do when you are playing down players. DOMINATE.

It is kind of silly to start calling teams "Power Houses" Four games into the season. Matter of fact, I will help you prove both yours and My points.

Last years Schedules and rankings are just that, Last years. Once a number of games have been played, probably around 10, you will begin to see the teams for this season that are your so called "Power House" teams. That does go both ways as yes, the teams the Falcons have played may not be great and yes, the teams Carolina have played May be better down the road.

My point again, which you have seen to look past to prove your own point, is that I understand you want to take a sobering view by saying Atlanta hasn't beat great teams but you by doing so you cannot ignore that Carolina has not as well and potential have play "lesser" teams proven their wears less.

With the way Falcons are playing, they will shred Carolina defense. Atlanta has too many weapons for Carolina. Carolina is one-dimensional offense, and their defense is good, but not great.

They have a much tougher schedule going forward. Atlanta doesn't have to play Green Bay or Seattle. Carolina still have to play NFC East, Indy, two games against Atlanta, @New Orleans.

My bet is that Caroline will end-up with a 9-7 record (10-6 capped). Their weakness is going to be exposed in the coming weeks.

Nice hypocrisy lol

You are the one who was going on and on about how Philadelphia was a preseason Super Bowl favorite. And Dallas was the reigning NFC Contender..... And now you are going to admit that last years schedules and rankings are just that, last years?????

Good. I'm glad you realized that last years schedules have no meaning this year.

I wasn't basing "power houses" off last year schedule. I didn't even insinuate that at all. I was basing it off of this year. Philly 1-3, Texans 1-3, Cowboys 2-2, Giants 2-2.

So... How can you throw around the phrase "Power House" if you do not have a historic base?

I did not go on and on about Philadelphia being a preseason Favorite, I mentioned it.

And... let's just end this silly debate. How about we do it this way... Team by team.

Lets start with Common Opponent Houston.

Carolina 24 - 17 Atlanta 48 - 21. Both games with the Same players and home games. Oh and since you like to talk about missing players, Houston Had their #1 RB they DID NOT have against Carolina.

Now comparison teams.

With your point of view that would assume

Jacksonville is Equal to Philadelphia.

Tampa Bay is Equal to New York Giants.

OR you can twist this as well and switch the Match ups.

Finally, like I stated before Saints and Cowboys W/o their Starting QBs.

Falcons start slow and Dominant(which of course you couldn't deny earlier) vs. Carolina that had to hold on to win by 5.

Now, back to my Tasty Burger...
