MD-FalconFan13
Was surprised to see the love our Falcons. Bill Billick showing us love. Flat out said he's almost unstoppable. Wonders why folks weren't doubling every play. Says the naked bootleg play actions might get Matt killed today against Watt. Also is anxious to see who wins the match between our O-Line and their D-Line. Bets on their D-Line. Just surprised to hear any ATL love this early. They usually give us a 30 second spot right before the game starts.
JDaveG
In 3rd sentence, for those who didn't see it and didn't figure it out, "he" is Julio Jones.Yeah, I thought that was a good synopsis. I'm not too worried about the naked boot situations. I think Shanahan has tape on Watt. He'll get his, but we'll scheme around him. I did like the suggestion to run right at him. He'll still get his plays because he's strong as a bull, but he'll also overpursue because he's used to using his speed to get in the backfield. MD-FalconFan13
Also mentioned that Matt Ryan needs to sell the play action well as Watt is the best in the league at sniffing them out. Starting to think this game might be a close ugly game..

They could win it close, we could win it close, or we could run away with it. Too many question marks surrounding their offense and their defense except for 3 players on the line. They could rise to the occasion or wilt. We'll see.

Starting to think this game might be a close ugly game..I think they should run at him, but make Matt fake hard pretending it's a playaction. Have Freeman starting out over LG so the DL is sliding left, Matt rolls out hard pulling Watt outside RT. Freeman should have a big cutback lane right between RG and RT with DiMarco plowing the way to seal off the LBer at the next level of their defense. Getting Watt to bite on the playaction when it's a run will keep him at bay for when Ryan is actually rolling out right.

I'd love to be able to have the matter settles in the middle of the 2nd quarter occasionally. The inability to put teams away seems to a shared trait between the last two coaching staffs. Okay, your right. I have to give him half a season before going there.

I can hear Madden already. "He got those big ol paws on it!" We need a plan to help Schraeder deal with him, because Watt can dominate the game with that matchup. Flayko247
As stated in an earlier post, Shanahan has watched tape on Watt. I know he's a freak of nature, but Shanahan had the benefit of practicing against him during his stint in Houston. That should account for something...............right? PHALCONABERNATHY
I think it'll be closer than it should according to the talking now heads and presumptions. The Texans get a humongous boost with Arian Foster returning.
Flyin' In DC
I think the PA boot to Clowney's side would be much more successful. He bites hard a lot. Success will come this week with DiMarco, Roddy and Toilolo. I think their defense is equipped to slow Julio down

DiMarco might not block them as well as he did the Cowboys.
