Evo
This Sunday will definitely tell us how good our Oline would be. The combo of Watt and Clowney scare the living crap out of me.

Tim Mazetti
The Falcons have an excellent o-line and OC. Not skeert.

falconfansince66
Those two can really wreak havoc. Hopefully Shanny's got a scheme to get the ball out of Ryan's hands and into the hands of our playmakers very quickly until we can guage what's happening on the lines. capologist
Watt, yes. Clowney, not really. I have full confidence that Jake can handle him...
Lornoth
Two very impressive players on a defense that overall has not been very impressive; especially when they have to carry their offense so hard.

zekeyboy1
Watt yes. Clowney, meh..Hes looked avg at best imo..And Ive watched every Texans game..
takeitdown
Clowney's a potentially bad matchup for Jake, because of the large arm length differential. I'll be interested to see how he holds up.Clowney doesn't have great bend, but he does a great job with the 1 arm hold off...keeping the OL at bay while he reads the play. That's like a tutorial on why arm length is important.
falconidae
Notice they didn't show Clowney getting a sack.Yeah, Watt is a great player, but , if the Bucs had Bryant, Texans would be 0-3.
schwarzenegger321
No professional player, in any contact sport (including basketball) has ever returned from micro-fracture surgery and been near as good as they were before the surgery. It is considered really good to be able to play more than two years past the surgery. Watt is a beast. We need to stay away from that dude. Clowney is one dimensional and over pursues/attacks way to much. Shanahan is going to have a field day against him. For all the hoopla that the Texans front seven are getting, they are statistically about equivalent to our defense in yards allowed both in the run and pass. In fact, I think they allow about 5 yards less a game than use on the ground and guess what, Houston has just as many sacks as we do, four. Shanahan is going to have them gassed by the second half. Stay away from Watt and let the Clown over-pursue and basically not think. We are going to kill him with screens, quick passes, cutbacks and slants from the slot. People are giving Houston way to much credit. They have a terrible offense and their defense is average. They should be called the Houston Watt's because he is the team. The only reason they might not be picking first in the 16 draft is because of Watt. Stay away or double him and all is good.
Da_Truth
These two aren't effective if you're attacking with the inside zone and up the middle of the field. The Chiefs ran sideline-to-sideline which played to Clowney's and Watt's strengths. I'm not saying these guys aren't two of the best in the league, but I'm sure Shanahan is not going to call plays to these guys strengths. rollo lawson
I'm going to respect both Watt and Clowney until further notice. Watt is a certified BEAST and Clowney has potential to be one too.

papachaz
Don't be scared. They apparently have the same number of sacks through three games as we do, four. doesn't watt have 3 of them?I am NOT one to over look the strengths of any opponent, but geesh people, if they were all that and a bag of chips, they'd be 3-0 instead of tied for the lead of their division with every other team IN the division at 1-2.I was one of the biggest skeptics at the beginning of the season, but shanahan has won me over with how he prepares the guys and gets them ready. I do believe he'll have the oline ready to run the plays he thinks will beat their best shots. No NFL game is a gimmie, you know, that old 'any given sunday' thing is indeed real. but I think we win this one, and it will be our first win that isn't a 4th quarter come back win
I Even Bleed Red
Texans def have one of the best DLs in football. And after seeing how the Dolphins dismantled our OL, Sunday will be a challenge. I don't see Freeman having such a monster game. That will make this a closer game than the second half was against the Cowboys.

Theyhateme : )
Put Patrick Dimarco in the offset I and run right at Clowney to soften him up and hope Schreader/Long and the TE can occupy Watt long enough.

schwarzenegger321
Why do people think Houston has a great front seven? I mean Watt is an uber beast, but other than him. How have they done the last few years?
