Falcons Worked Out TE Adrien Robinson

1 min ago Falcons 0 Comments 0 Views

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Falcons worked out TE Adrien Robinson on Thursday.

Last weekend, veteran TE Jacob Tamme sustained a concussion and the Falcons wound up signing TE Mickey Shuler to a contract earlier in the week. However, it appears as though they’re still considering some available options.

Robinson, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Giants back in 2012. He spent four years in New York before he was waived during roster cuts last month.

He recently worked out for the Dolphins, but wound up leaving Miami without a contract.

In 2014, Robinson appeared in all 16 games for the Giants and caught five passes for 50 yards and a touchdown.

Tamme might be out for a while.

It's a concussion. Concussions normally have you out at least one game, if not two.

This is just more examples of the FO continually trying to upgrade. In this case, they're trying to upgrade Shuler.

Kuechly might miss his 3rd game. Concussions can take you out for a while.

Or maybe they just feel they need 3 on the roster and are looking for #3 ie Shuler OR Robinson OR Other

Active Toilolo and Schuler plus Tamme (currently injured)

on IR Gardner

on PS Jensen

I was thinking I was the only one who saw it this way.

Because tamme went down. And then toilolo had a arm problem, but ended up coming back..... And we had no one behind him.

Tamme seems to be a delicate TE. This isn't the first time he's been injured this year. I'm using to seeing big, tough, strong TEs and we need to get us a Gronk!

Tamme has only missed 1 game to injury in the last 7 years....and a concussion has literally nothing to do with being delicate, wow

Moeaki must be that bad. Doesn't look like anybody picked him up and we don't seem interested even with no depth at TE.

Which really surprises me. I liked Moeaki a lot. Maybe he just wasnt that great at doing what they wanted from the TE position? Who knows, head scratcher for sure.
