Ignore the Cam Newton garbage and go down to the stats, We are 1st in pass blocking and 6th in overall situation grade.

We are not so high in plays made (17) or favorable D&D (24) but just even thinking of us as having a great OL is amazing.

BTW, they also have Matty rated as the 4th best QB in the league currently

We clearly need a better Dungeon Master.

No.

But I'm glad to see the interior holding up far better than one would expect from guys put together at the last minute.

Right now there's a lot of scheming, quick passes, etc. But there is hope that as the season progresses and the line gels, that there can be less scheming and they'll still be pretty good. You'd have to be pleased with that.

fewest number of pressures because ryan is throwing all those short passes to julio, we have had a balanced run/pass ratio (at least in 2 games), and play action has been effective

Shanahan is no fool. You nullify the pass rush with quick short passes, roll your QB out some, and run the football. The Texans are a test the Falcons will pass with flying colors.

And from what I understand, Pokersteve, despite what was considered uprades and players returning healthy on defense, the Texans have NOT performed even close to expectations for reasons unknown. :)
