The eagles front 7 is real competition. Give me a freaking break.

Everybody is competition until we beat them and then they aren't. You sound like ESPN.

How many times have we heard "the O-line is fine" the past few years? Answer: several

They play against lesser competition and many assume they're fine. Oh, and we were in max protection quite a bit against the Eagles

If the truth bothers you I'd suggest not replying

Eagles front 7 is one of the best in the league. You have a weird definition of truth.

The 3 teams we faced were not chopped liver they were competitive team Defenses... The O-line has played good so far there's actually some talent/vet sauve in that starting unit too this year. Matthews is proving to be a top 10 LT in the NFL, Levitre is going be our long-term LG in he's been just fine in the system he plays best, Person has been a surprise he may still be the weakest of the group but unlike Hawley he has a legit physical-meanness in his game, Chester is a long time Vet who is solid and steady although he may truly be a stop-gap, Schrader still young has shown physical skills but learned multiple blocking schemes in a few short years.

This is a good line could be some spots for improvement either thru personal or progression in player development but they get the job done which is better then we have had in years.

Matthews is solid

Levitre is coming up on 30 with a history of injuries. Look to improve if possible

Person is snappy happy. Look to improve if possible. Makes good depth

Chester on the wrong side of 30. FA after the year. Look to improve

Schraeder gets plenty of help. Look to improve. Keep him for depth as swing tackle

I'd like my QB to sleep soundly at night. Oh, and I don't wanna see him sht himself again on tv

Link me to some facts. You're making claims. Prove them.

All I can link you to is the past 3 games. I don't have NFL rewind or anything like that, but I know what I saw. If you wish to remain ignorant be my guest

Hasn't missed a game in his career.

I guess that is more of those truths you're so fond of.

At no point prior to letting Harvey Dahl walk has our O-line been "fine" until this season.

So he has a history of scrapes and bruises?

Just chalk up the loss and move on.

Always look to get better if the opportunity presents itself, son. Always

Yes, change the subject because you were wrong.

Now you break out the son talk because you're feeling insecure about yourself.

My entire premise was look to improve the line

That stat is truly unbelievable. This group was expected to be the Falcons' greatest weakness and it's one of the best units in the NFL. Either the group of Matthews, Levitre, Person, Chester and Schraeder are way better than anyone gave them credit for in preseason or Chris Morgan has managed to make chicken salad without any chicken.

Matthews is very good *Fixed that for you*

Levitre is coming up on 30 with a history of injuries. Look to improve if possible *He's on a contract thru 2019 and while maybe one day he will be a cap casualty next few years it's would be very costly to cut him particular if he continues to play well and what history of injuries he didn't miss any time and his struggles in Tennessee were directly related to being in a power run scheme which was a poor fit for him.

Person is snappy happy. Look to improve if possible. Makes good depth *Perhaps can be upgrade he's not a world beater but does his job*

Chester on the wrong side of 30. FA after the year. Look to improve *Definitely a stop gap does his job but of course hope for a upgrade and not a downgrade when he's gone.

Schraeder gets plenty of help. Look to improve. Keep him for depth as swing tackle *He's graded out very strongly overly the past few years when starting and all while being in 2 different schemes we have Jake Long waiting in the wings this year to replace him if he struggles....or he could also continue to grow in this scheme and hold down that RT position moving forward

"There were only two games last year where Jake Matthews played the entire game, didn’t allow a sack or hit, and allowed one or fewer hurries. That has been true for all three games so far this year. His pass blocking efficiency of 99.4 leads all offensive tackles."
