Clark Kent™
Willie Young for sure. Its something that should have been explored since back when Fangio got there and moved them to a 3-4. You can't tell me the Bears aren't willing to deal a guy who is being a healthy scratch, for relatively cheap. And Willie Young can rush the passer, but it all comes down to if he has that fit that Quinn wants.
Guest King Jigsaw
pretty sure anyone the new regime just signed isn't up for trade LOLThe Falcons don't ever make the moves we want anyway? No one in this thread really expects us to get TE help and we pretty much all know that Tamme and Toilolo are in this season. We're all dreamers. I'm just choosing to dream big. falconsd56
We do not really need another wr but you gotta admit Jeffery,Julio, and Roddy would be a nightmare for defenses
blizzard_falcon
The most likely trade candidates are major players who would be free agents next year:RB Matt ForteCB Alan BallLB Shea McClellinDT Jay RatliffSS Ryan MundyWR Alshon JeffreyOr players who don't fit the new 3-4 scheme on defense regardless:DE Jared Allen (traded)DE Willie YoungLB Jon Bostic (traded)Or players who have had friction with the front office / coaching staff:TE Martellus BennettOr the player who is a cancer to the team:QB Jay CutlerExpecting the Bears to trade anyone else away is pretty unrealistic. KRUNKuno
Shea would be an awesome SAM in Quinn's system...I feel like Shea is Biermann and not just because they're both white. I wanted Shea the year he came out, but he hasnt really done much.

hjerry
They only got rid of 4-3 defensive ends that dont fit the schemeNo, they got rid of one guy that played that position, and another that played LB.

Ball is a depth type player signed to a 1yr contract. I wondered about him too, when I looked at their roster, but he sat unsigned for a while. He's not worth anything. vel
So just got news that the Falcons almost landed Bostic...It was between the Patriots and the Falcons. Bostic wanted to come to Atlanta but the Patriots ponied up more for him. Would have been a good move. Upgrade Bartu. I'm not the one who pops up with BS rumors. This one is legit. I love how incessant we've become in making this a good team every chance we can get.

hjerry
relatedBears waived S Brock Vereen.Vereen only saw four snaps in the Bears' first three games. That was still enough time for him to get exposed by Jimmy Graham, who steamrolled Vereen for a touchdown in last week's loss to the Seahawks. Vereen contributed 39 tackles and one interception as a rookie last year. Sep 29 - 4:48 PM

Cranky Southpaw
Martellus Bennett, but we're already down two picks next year.I'm in Chicago and two days ago I was listening to Waddle and Silvey show on ESPN as well as earlier I was listing to Waddle on Mike/Mike.They discussed who they would trade, drop, etc...Bennett is one that they would keep as he is younger then some and fits the scheme for the next three or so years.Forte was an option of being a player who could be traded but would be to expensive for us (when a new contract is signed) and he is 30. Jesus
Aren't we glad that we went out to find players for our scheme before the season rather than during or after.
Falconsfan567
Man what! Bostic is a hard hitter too. At least good depth. I just re-read my post and didn't realize it came off as being sarcastic. That wasn't my intention at all. I would have loved to have Bostic here. He would have been such a nice fit in Quinn's defense.
RHEC
Forte is probably the only player I wouldn't mind trading for, but then again hes 30....

falconfansince66
Jeffery and Julio would be a tandem to reckon with. IF we snagged Bennett to boot, scariest offense ever! OK.. Back to reality and we're still 3-0!

Atlantafan21
Surprised no one has brought up Kyle Long. Doubt bears would even think about trading him, but that'd be amazing.
