Thanks Guys

It just occurred to me that I probably would have switched the game off by the end of the second quarter if it weren't for all the laughs and craziness in the game chat that Cap started yesterday. I wanted to thank Cap, and everyone else that was there, for keeping me hopeful and allowing me to watch an incredible win from start to finish.

EAT ****!

BTW R, that's the new chant. ;)

Why would you even consider turning the game off with the league leader in 4th quarter comebacks behind center?

You're the last person I thought would ask that question :) I've been hopeful about this team so many times, only to see them turn out to be a total bust...

In my second watch of the game, I could see where things were starting to come together before the half, but in the initial watch I was like a lot of other folks who attributed the turn around entirely to halftime adjustments.

The last drive of the first half gave me some hope, but settling for a field goal made me extremely uneasy. I know it's a different beast, but I think Quinn could learn a thing or two about clock management from Brian Kelly, at least based on what I saw from each this weekend. I had to agree with, I think it was Aikman, saying that we were using too many timeouts too quickly, but it ultimately didn't change anything about the drive.

This team has a fight that I've never seen in Atlanta, just straight up dog, and I'm still not believing my own eyes when I see it.

So did I tbh... felt more confident than I have in years past about it... this team has dog in em

I will definitely say I was more confident than in years past, but in years past my brand new Falcons polo would have been in the fireplace midway through the second quarter, because I would have known there was no way in **** we recover.

I was fine with quinns to usage

It worked out fine. At the time I thought it would bite us in the ***, like it has every single time, ever.

I'm just trying to wrap my head around the new expectations, because historically there has been a whoooole lot of "here we go, again." The problems at D have been obvious and festering for years, but I wasn't even aware how bad our offensive playcalling was until Shanny arrived, and I thought he was going to be Quinn's albatross. It scares the **** out of me being this hopeful for this team. I'd still like to kick Eugene Robinson in the nuts...

I would never turn a Falcons game off early. Not even the Giants playoff game or the Charles Dimry game.

But I can understand others doing so.

I used to be that way, but one day I heard Larry Wachs say that he didn't allow millionaires to ruin his weekends. These guys fight, so I likely won't consider turning the game off again, but in years past, you just knew the team was going to accept failure and cash their checks. **** those guys. just have to say it was fun and watching devonta freeman just get better and better every play turn into a monster so fun

Yeah, I didn't think he had it in him, nor did I think the oline would, yet. I even reverted back to a hard stance of "can we do that consistently" after the adrenaline settled, but I'll gladly chow on crow as a post game meal.

I love that they had two guys that had to get busted lips stitched up. I'm not sure if Devonta was responsible for them, but I hope so.

He definitely took out Sean Lee 2nd play of the half

I jumped out of chat before the half, turned the sound off on TV and watched the game standing up till the end. No distractions. Total focus.

Had to make adjustments.

The results speak for themselves.

:) I don't sit and watch games, either. Granted, I don't sit for Modern Family....But I definitely don't sit and watch games. I pace back and forth in during commercial breaks.
