The undefeated Atlanta Falcons rode a virtuoso performance from Julio Jones in a 39-28 comeback win over the depleted Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Here's what we learned:

1. All hail Julio Jones, the best wide receiver in the National Football League. The Falcons scored the game's final 25 points and Jones (12/164/2) was at the center of every scoring drive. Jones already has 34 catches, the most ever through three games in NFL history.

2. The Cowboys lost today, but don't hang it on Brandon Weeden. The Dallas offense went pretty much dormant in the second half, but Weeden limited his killer turnovers (an ugly trait in his career) to just one and threw the ball with good accuracy. Remember, Weeden is dealing with the same dearth of playmakers that Romo was contending with prior to his injury.

3. No Tevin Coleman, no problem for the Falcons, who got a monster game from Devonta Freeman (30/141/3). The Falcons are 3-0, and it's no coincidence that they finally have some actual difference-makers in the backfield.

4. The Cowboys' much-vaunted offensive line looked as good as advertised in the first half as the team jumped to a 28-14 second-quarter lead. Joseph Randle (87 yards, 3 TDs) had a career day and Darren McFadden even showed flashes of former competence. All that went away once Atlanta started rolling up points, however.

5. "Terrance Williams: No. 1 receiver" is not going well. Williams was targeted just twice and held without a catch. Get well soon, Dez

things are looking good. Barring injury, the only teams that I can say are safely looking better than us right now are the Patriots and the Cardinals.
