Some quotes:

"I've still expected the Cowboys to win this game because I think the defense will make enough plays"

"I've got the Cowboys winning 27-21"

"I've got Brandon Carr having a good game and look for a few big plays from Brice Butler this week."

"The Cowboys find a way to make enough defensive plays despite all the losses in personnel to win, 21-17."

"I already had a bad feeling about Sunday, and that was before the Cowboys announced they’d be without their most experienced defensive end in Jeremy Mincey due to a concussion."

"It’s hard to say for sure right now if the Falcons are actually a contender, but they are bringing a Pro Bowl quarterback and receiver to AT&T Stadium, and that counts for something."

"I’m actually a believer that this Dallas defense is for real, and it should benefit from Tevin Coleman sitting out."

"I think Matt Ryan will lead Atlanta on a late scoring drive, and the Falcons will win – something like 20-17."

After the game:
http://www.dallascowboys.com/news/2015/09/27/instant-review-staff-writers-give-quick-analysis-after-loss-falcons

"Ok, well call this one a big goose egg for me. Nothing I wrote on Saturday was accurate here. I said the Cowboys would win, nope. I said Brandon Carr would have a good game, nope. I said Jeremy Mincey’s loss would hurt but the Cowboys could overcome it, nope. I said Brice Butler might have some big plays, nope – didn’t even have a target. And more importantly, I thought Brandon Weeden would play well enough to win, and that’s a big nope."

"Crawford and his teammates didn't do a good enough job of handling blocks at the point of attack and was the reason that the Falcons had so much offense success."

"The passing game also just was never able to make Atlanta pay for crowding the box to stop the run in the second half."

---
I read what they had to say yeaterday, it was fun reading their reaction today. I like how before the game they were "we got this" and now it's all excuses.

Thing was, Quinn said initially we were preparing as if we were facing Romo and you could kind of see it...once we tightened up on the short game and run, and ACTUALLY STARTED TACKLING PROPERLY, it was a whole new ball game. If we don't come out flat I think the game is never close...but the adversity was really good. Served dual purposes, both let us know to never let up or take anything for granted and encouraged the team that we are capable of winning ANY game as long as we play our best.

Really, minus a few sloppy tackles on a certain running back who shall remain nameless, this game wouldn't have been close.
