Atlchamp99
Today is a such a trap game. I'm more nervous about today's game than the Eagles and giants games. The Cowboys have a really good defense and I'm sure their offense has some great plays dialed up. The only way we win is if we make their team one demensional and make weeden try and win the game. But I'm hoping our offense can score a lot of points too

Atlchamp99
That's very true BUT I want to see if DQ has his team ready. I want to see us murder the Cowboys instead of treading step for step with them like we did a lot of times with smitty. I want a blowout as it should be

I want a blowout as it should besee, the thing is, there's no way to say it SHOULD be a blowout. It's the NFL. GA vs. Southern should be a blowout. Nothing in the NFL should be a blowout. Especially with a team with new coaching and new schemes. All you have to do is watch other games and see how often the favored team loses.Falcons win on a last second FG or by scoring the first 21 points of the game and cruising, doesn't matter, what matters is 3-0. DallasNative
I don't know... The team's so depleted on both sides of the ball right now... I feel like the Falcons should win, but I know we still dem boys! What I mean by that, is that the only real thing that Dallas has going for it, is that it has a good scheme on both sides of the ball, and a culture has developed in Dallas that is somewhat "Patriots-esque"... Not that I can or should compare these Cowboys to a Brady and Belicheat led team that has won four Super Bowls recently, obviously Dallas doesn't have those same skins on the wall... But we do have an identity, we do have a toughness, and we know how to win.. And what's special here, is I believe that Dallas' identity, and our "culture" if you will, is so strong at this point in time, that it can even transcend our loss of talent to a large extent. But then I look on the other side of the field and I see Matt Ryan and Julio Jones, and it feels like a reality check... I remember how hard it is to beat teams like Atlanta WITH Romo and Dez, and it's like yikes... However I also believe what I said in the above paragraph... So I'm left with the conclusion that if Romo misses 8 games, I think the depleted Cowboys will go 4-4, which means they will have to win some games they weren't supposed to win... I'm guessing this will be one of those games, and the Cowboys will squeak out at 3-0...Then again, maybe somebody laced my weed with LSD... lju713
Trap games imho are when the weaker team comes to your home stadium and beats you. Its more pressure on Dallas to win than us.

One wrong move and some will think he doesn't have the team readyThe players have been playing differently, and that's all we can ask for or expect after going 10-22 the past 2 years

trudweathers
Game on the road against a 2-0 team is -not- a trap game. It'll be a 60 minute fight and I hope we come out on top.Turnovers will decide.
Mid-Nite-Toker
Trap game is a buzz word and fallacy according to some...this matchup is the very definition of a trap game IMHO.
GTFalcon25
It'll be considered a trap game by a lot of folks on here if we lose. The same folks who think we're going to cruise to victory. We're playing a talented team on the road. Romo or not, this should be a tough game. That's not a trap. It's just a test.

Mid-Nite-Toker
Yes, but how anybody would think that the Falcons could take an opponent for granted is beyond me.Not taking them for granted, but going through the motions. This game is on the road and a sluggish start would make it far too interesting.
