Atlanta (2-0) at Dallas (2-0), 1 p.m. ET (Fox): I know Aaron Rodgers said God was a Packers fan in Week 2, but I actually think He might be a Falcons fan this season.

In Week 1, the Falcons won partly because of a miraculous missed field goal by the Eagles late in the game.

In Week 2, the Falcons won partly because Eli Manning still hasn't figured out this whole "clock management" thing after 11 full seasons in the NFL.

In Week 3, I'm not sure what's going to happen, but I do know the Cowboys aren't going to have Tony Romo and Dez Bryant. I also have a feeling Matt Ryan's going to throw for about 450 yards. Falcons 27-24 over Cowboys.

Besides having the Almighty on their side, the other good news for Falcons fans is that after two years of watching horrible football, they shouldn't have to hide in their car trunk on Sundays this season.

I'm not sure I understand the whole "clock management" thing. Usually, "clock management" means using your timeouts poorly, or going with passes when you should have run the ball. The Falcons were down by 3 with 12:39 left in the fourth quarter. How is clock management going to burn up 12+ minutes? Toward the end of the game the Giants got the ball back with a little over 4 minutes left. They ran it once and completed two short passes. Atlanta stopped the clock each time using a timeout. The Giants needed a first down, but were forced to punt. Atlanta then gets the ball back and drives 70 yards for the touchdown. The Giants just got beat. They couldn't get a first down, they couldn't get a stop on the Falcons at the end.

Don't have to hide anymore when in public and they have God on their side(the team that it) . That's what I took from it

It's crazy to think anyone actually believes God is on anyone's side in terms of the out come of a football game.. People are so self serving when it comes to religious views.. I am not saying that is what you believe BTW :-) But I digress...

GO FALCONS!! 2-0 baby!!

I don't let it bother me anymore but I always found it funny that people used the whole "if Parkey makes that kick, we would have lost."

Sure. That's true.

It's also true that if MR2 throws the ball in the endzone a little higher than Kiko Alonso doesn't make that great interception, we get a TD and increase our lead by 7 more which means that FG attempt would have probably never happened.

Through the course of a game, both teams make plays and mistakes that would change the course of the game had they not been made. We didn't win because of a missed field goal, we won because throughout 60 min of game time, we scored more total points than them.
