roguebeaver
The heifer girls beat the birds this upcoming weekend? I know..,any given Sunday mantra, but really how can we not assist in handing out some misery to "glory hole" Jones by beating the ish out of that team?! Anyone that predicts a Dallas win is just hoping. Rise up and "keep on trucking!"
JDaveG
I remember when there was a thread asking if it was possible we beat the Eagles.Never say never. We should win this game, but those are often the games you lose. The team needs to come to play.
kingslasher
I look forward to your "realistically" threads every week. Glad you changed perspective after two wins.
Nono
Well not saying we didn't win last Sunday but it took everything we had. We had 3 or 4 series in a row of 3 and outs---its hard to say what Falcon team will show up Sunday--but my money is on them

Guest Negatorris
We lost to Brian Hoyer, Matt Flynn, Geno Smith, TJ Yates, and Mike Glennon... I'm not marking this as a certain win. Dallas has a great OL, and their remaining receivers aren't half bad. They have no RBs, but Weeden isn't going to have to win it by himself. Ryan has been mediocre to start the season and the Cowboy's D has looked good so far. The game will come down to whether Ryan can finally play like a 100 million dollar QB, and not a backup. 3 TD passes in two games? Mariota and Winston even have more... He was supposed to be a beast in this system. Hardy and Gregory are out, so there's no excuse for our passing attack.Running the ball is going to be a struggle. Freeman is a very good player but he's just a 3rd down receiving back who can bust a few good runs a game. We will need to rely on the passing game.If we lose this game then we are worse than we thought. The Cowboys are severely crippled. Absolutely no excuses here. conalthomas
With the Cowboys being banged up, the game should be easier to win, but nothing is certain, ever, and besides:The Cowboys will be playing at home. They have a tough defense. They have a good offensive line.Stuff happens. MACK4ttACK
Not gonna lie. I was sure we would beat the Eagles and the Giants because of our dominant Defense and Tevin Coleman (rungame). Now that Tevin is out and it's the 2nd game in a row on the road... this game isn't a given. It's going to come down to how well the o line holds up again so that Ryan can make a game winning drive. A Dog Named Brian
Lol, I really love it when people are like "well, in the past we always lay an egg these games" Yea, let's completely ignore the fact that we have a new coaching staff and have played pretty well so far this season
Bring It
In the NFL there are NO guaranteed wins.None.Zero.EVERY week is a battle. Most games hinge on 2 or 3 plays that could go right........or wrong. Fingers crossed.

There are still 22 guys on the field who can make plays, besides, I have seen the Falcons, too many times to count, allow a back up or never was QB look like a Super Bowl MVP. Leggggggo
I have a feeling they are going to pound their run game between the tackles with reckless abandon. If we can control the line and stop the run, force them to put the game in Weedens hands on third and longs, we have a good shot at a W. If they can move the ball on the ground, I think it'll be a toss up at the end of the fourth quarter. DoYouSeeWhatHappensLarry
Rod Marinelli has their defense playing very well. We're lucky in that we won't have to deal with Gregory/Hardy/McClain.

Check the standings. You think Matt Ryan is playing like a backup QB? Have you ever watched a backup QB play football? Have you actually physically watched other QBs play football this year? How about ever in your life? Through two games Matt Ryan is 3rd in passing yards, 8th in YPA, 11th in AYA, 7th in TQBR, 6th in NYA, 10th in ANYA. Yep. Backup numbers right there. This is a pile of garbage post. Try again.

Your quarterback isn't going to throw 4 touchdowns a game. Matt's having a good year so far.
