Not watching the game. Just saw on the boxscore that Wisler has 7 strikeouts through 5 innings. That's got to be getting close to his career high. It's a major encouragement to see him finally getting some swings and misses. That was one concern I was starting to have about him, he has been so reliant on his defense, too much so at times.

He's pitching with better command and confidence now. Combine that with the bite on his pitches and you get this.

Wisler looks outstanding tonight. I think a couple of weeks ago he would have lost his composure after that Olivera error.

Teheran also looks like he's over whatever bump in the road he had earlier in the season and Miller is still pitching well despite the no win streak most likely driving him insane. I don't know what exactly they're going to do with the #4-5 spots in the rotation but I'm feeling very confident in the top three going into next season, assuming none of them are traded, and with the pitching staff in general considering the players they traded for and the in house players coming back from injury that will fill out the bullpen.

I think they'll sign a mid-tier free agent. Then they hopefully get Minor back, and Folty, Weber, and Perez join Jenkins in Gwinnett at the beginning of the season.
