AtlantaFalconPokerPro
First priority is to make the tackle. Once you know you're definitely in position, then you blow them up.
TheFatboi
Its just how he missed the tackle. Like I can understand if a player just outplays u and gets away. But not when u go for a dang killshot and totally get bounced off. He just needs to wrap up. Spin move spin move spin move. He didn't just bounce off. The dude made a move. That's what shifty players do. They make hitters and tacklers miss. ????

putnam6
All I know is that if Smitty were still the head coach, this game would have already been lost at halftime.Exacto mundoMister Heat Blister/Mister Sun....and yea I sang the song with my daughters every year till they began to roll their eyes LOL. Falcanuck
Alford didn't blow the coverage. It was cover 3 so his assignment is to bail straight back. OBJ ran an post route so that responsibility was in the middle of the field. Probably one of the linebackers didn't drop deep enough. Stupar was in on that play so it may have been him. Either way it wasn't on Alford. Allen missed the tackle tho. That's kind of irrelevant to the point I was trying to make.Either way, I would have liked to of seen more effort on Alford's behalf on that play. He did a lot of watching there. And yes Allen took an awful angle and essentially gave up that TD.
youngbloodz
Willy Mo missed that tackle on 3rd down cause he didn't break down and he had his head down. See what you hit is what I was always taught. He has to learn to keep his head up
vel
Hey, at least #25 saw he wasn't playing well. He wasn't. But they manned up, accepted it and stepped up from that point on. That's what we need. That's being a leader and holding yourself accountable. They are definitely better than what they showed in that first half and they showed it in the fourth quarter. Not every game is going to be pretty. It's a 60 minute fight. They fought for 60 minutes.
Moist Words
he said it's on Ms too in that articalJust like Willy Mo to try to pass the buck but he messed up. We don't even have a Ms.too on the team.
ATLFalcons11
I want perfection. Sorry! But I also know how to respond when I inevitably don't get perfection.I don't call him the worst starter ever. I just call him out on his missed tackle. Lol. ki46dinah
What worries me is that Allen has been benched a series in both games thus far. It could be punishment, could be rest, but it kinda bothers me.but not Alford, who was gettin worked like a drum

TheFatboi
If I recall correctly, Vereen didn't spin until after Moore hit him with his shoulder. It was simultaneous. It's why he missed. Why would you spin after the hit?

Have you ever played football and tried to catch a guy running full speed from one side of the field to the other side of the field? Hard to do. He had the perfect angle and the perfect set up and Vereen did a spin and got out of his grasp.
TheFatboi
Dude can hit but can't tackle. He's a hitter and I'm fine with that. He made some very nice KEY tackles in the game so he very well can tackle. He's just more of a hitter
TheFatboi
Moore was also the second leading tackler in the game 5 so he obviously made some tackles. Durant had 9. So he should've had 6. Ok
Da_Truth
And he dies just that. You don't think those young players respond when makes a crushing tackle? HE set the tone yesterday early on the game. I can't believe you would even say something like this. Another WIllie Mo apologist. There's a time for blowing a player up and wrapping a player up to prevent them from making a first down. Willie Mo has been doing this crap for how many years now? I've watched him miss more tackles than he's made. Every week he's holding himself accountable. You see any changes yet?
FentayeJones
His head wasn't down. I just looked at it. He had the perfect angle and the perfect set up and Vereen did a spin and got out of his grasp.Just went back and looked at that play about 10 times. Moore was not going for a kill shot like everybody in this thread is saying. He actually squared up and Vereen made a good spin move to slip out of the tackle. Major overreaction. I've seen him miss tackles but they have not caused us to lose the game. PERIOD!!! Thas all I'm saying. And you're lying. He does not miss more tackles than he makes. He missed one tackle yesterday. He made 5. He had 7 tackles in the eagles game he only missed 1. Are you trying to say he missed 8 or more tackles? Stop with the bullsh*t man. We only missed 8 tackles as a team and you're telling me Willy mo missed more tackles than he made?? Which would be at least 8 missed tackles??? THAT'S A STRAIGHT UP LIE!!!! Go watch the play and see for yourself!!

TheFatboi
I'll leave this here for those that think Moore is the only enforcer that misses tackles. This is just one game.http://o.seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/seahawks/2024500907_seahawks10xml.html
