Demarco Murray....

Not at all...he is obviously in an offensive system that doesn't fit his skill set. Happens all the time. Have you guys had a 100 yard rusher yet?

What does that have to do with this thread?

Has Murray duplicated his success behind Philly's Oline?

Murray led the league in rushing behind that o line. He had how many 100 yard games last year? If it was the o line the reason for his success, then the player that replaced him should have 100 yard games also, right?

It's simple logic.

I guess that logic also states then that if the Cowboys win without romo then it's not romo.

Who said anything about wins?

Last year Murray only had 4 games where he didn't go over 100 yards. This year, after 2 games, he doesn't even have 100 yards combined.

...but he wanted top dollar, SMH

That logic would be to say every RB is built the same. Its a combination of the two. However, Murray wanted to be paid like it was all him. Murray has proven the Cowboys right in refusing to offer more than they did.

My point exactly. Demarco is not the style running back you want for a spread type, fast tempo offense like Chip Kelley runs. LeSean McCoy was a better fit than Demarco.

You have to put players in the best system for their talents to succeed. Otherwise, you are trying to fit square pegs into round holes.

Murray went there to get back at Dallas. I agree McCoy was a better back for them. However, Murray is getting what he deserves. He could have won a Super Bowl in Dallas.

No argument, but also can't blame anyone for leaving for financial security. You once thought he was one of the best running backs in the league, and now because he went it's all the o line? That's intellectually dishonest. You are a fan, you are upset he left and feel it's disloyal, it's only natural. But he did what he had to do. If Dallas wasn't going to show him the money, then he went somewhere that would. Running backs especially have to get what they can when they can, as their NFL lifespans are even shorter than most.

Yall should get out of the divisional round before we talk super bowl

Are you trying to say if Dallas kept their roster from last year together that wasn't a roster that could compete? Then add Greg Hardy and Dallas' draft class.

If you think Dallas wouldn't be a major contender then you're kidding yourself. A better pass rush (and one more catch) and we're talking about whether or not Dallas got passed the NFC championship last year.

And Dallas would have used him without paying him what The Eagles paid him.

If someone came along and offered him more money than the Eagles, I am sure he would have taken it. he might take it personally that Dallas wasn't willing to pay him, but if you think money wasn't his main concern, well...

I get that, however, Murray can keep being frustrated. He made his bed.

Dallas was forced to move on.

Would you pay the Murray of these last 2 weeks over $8m a year?
