Manning was on IR for a year a few years ago, and Brett Favre barely played his rookie season. It's really an accomplishment. Crazy.

This is Peyton's 17th NFL season as a starter. He's gotten to 70,000 in his 258th NFL game. He has averaged 271.9 yards passing per game in his career.

Now for the ones that want to talk about Matt Ryan, he's averaged 256.4 yards passing per game in his career. Honestly I'm surprised that they're that close for their careers considering the first two years of Matt's career.

If Matt can fit a couple 5K ones in, he'd catch up easy.

If he gets 5K this year, he'd be at 70,686 at the end of 17 years.

Kubiack's offense looks weird with Peyton at QB.

It is obvious that Peyton's abilities are diminishing, but I think him playing in Kubiack's scheme makes his abilities look a little bit worse than what they really are right now.

I think that Peyton really came back this season for the record. I doubt that he would've agreed to such a change otherwise.
