Everyone on GameDay picked Kentucky over Florida. We'll see if McElwain's insanity woke the team up or if it's water off a duck's back. A lot of these guys spent 3 years coached by an absolute lunatic, so the act may be a little thin for them.

Every single time I want to give Kentucky or Tennessee a nod over Florida, they go out and lose lol... so I kinda stay away from putting out much of an opinion on those matchups. That being said, last year and this year are probably their best chances. They almost did it last year... not sure what to expect at this point. Florida has been such an unpredictable team lately.

I'd laugh at Mizzou but this is pretty much who they were the last few years. They'll get just the right call, big play or key opponent injury at the exact moment they need it, do just enough to keep themselves in the race then simply sit back and watch Georgia throw away winnable games.

Missouri is god awful. The SEC as a whole is pretty average this year.

I don't know if I'd go that far. A number of teams are playing a lot of young players and it takes a little time to get them playing at a high level. It hasn't been a strong early showing but I'd wager a month or so from now we will see a few of these SEC teams showing out.

I agree Mizzou is not good though. Mark has been disappointing since he took over the starting position. He looked promising as a freshman.

I will. I just don't think the conference as a whole is very good this year. Well find out tonight just how legit Ole Miss is. Alabama is Alabama. If Georgia can get some better QB play then they're legit. For me that's it. Unless Jeremy Johnson just has a major turnaround then Auburn is there. Texas A&M I'm still a bit iffy about. There's no one else even worth mentioning.

I didn't make any for sure calls other than FSU not covering, which they didn't. Said I give Ole Miss a decent shot at upsetting Bama but I won't really claim that one, that was a pretty non-committed statement lol...

It was a big weekend of chaos though. The rankings will get shaken up a little bit. I'm pretty curious to see how these next ones come out actually.
