Guest Dirty Bird Nation ®
Those screen plays pissed me off. At some point Kyle has to take it on himself and tell the receivers to stop trying to pick defenders before the pass on those plays because they're going to get called back for holding. Really annoyed that he kept trying the same thing again.

Should he have run it more than once? Possibly not. Unless he was trying to put it on tape for the next gsme.

It's on the players to be more disciplined and execute the play properly

Kyle did some good things, and I know most people here are circle-jerking him right now, but It was definitely a mistake in his playcalling to keep running that. And it's fine, it does mean more yards, but some refs are going to call that each time, and some refs are going to say its legal. These refs were not letting it slide, and Kyle shouldn't have kept running them.

FalconFanSince1970
Loved the balance and some of those quick skinnies to Julio, but still hate all that zone stretch bush it, and never been a fan of cutting off half the field with a bunch of naked boots. Runs bigger than he is. I think the draw play was a typical give up and punt play that Coleman, the Oline and receivers turned into a first down. Macknsweetjones
Wasn't the play calls imo, it was Ryan, as well as refs calling back so many first downs on screens.Yup...Ryan being rusty and those flags really messed us up in the second half
raysnill1
Not completely sold on him yet. Probably the offensive lines fault but something just bothers me about how the offense played in the 2nd halfthe offensive line was fine, Philly came out in desperation mode and had to blitz and overload just to get pressure. Chip got in the refs ears about the blocking on screens which lead to a few penalties but in any other game those wouldn't have been called or even noticed. Fiddlin John Carson
Loved his playcalling...but:1. Early in the game...up two scores...we went hurry up. IMO...BIG mistake. Against a team like that...you take your time. Keep your defense off the field. Keep their offense off the field. This KILLS an uptempo coach. They get impatient. It didnt help us either.2. Early in the game...we lined up in 2-2 personnel...with Demarco at FB. He was blowing mfers up in the run game...we were getting yards...and Ryan had all day to throw off play action. Then...we tried to spread em out. After that...that's when they started blowing up run plays and hitting Ryan. Against that front seven...IMO....shoulda stayed in 2-2 more.
