Atlantafan21
Wasn't completely terrible against Fletcher Cox of who is a very good player.
Falconsfan567
He struggled some. But that's to be expected. He had what, 4 days of practice with the team? I'm more concerned with Person's run blocking and terrible snaps. Those low snaps happened a lot and threw off the timing of quite a few plays which could explain why so many of Ryan's throws where just a bit off the mark. dmo_dlo
That looks more on Matthews and DiMarco who decides to block nobody on the most important run play of the game.
MACK4ttACK
That looks more on Matthews and DiMarco who decides to block nobody on the most important run play of the game.Agreed somewhat on DiMarco--he could have saved the play, but he was blocking the second level DB since Matthew's was supposed to have the blitz.Matthew's foot gets stepped on by Cox (Levitre's man) before the DB arrives
Bunchy Carter
That looks more on Matthews and DiMarco who decides to block nobody on the most important run play of the game. They BOTH whiffed, and Person got used too.
Atlantafan21
That looks more on Matthews and DiMarco who decides to block nobody on the most important run play of the game.I saw that too, but looks like Dimarco was trying to block someone at the second level. Not sure what Matthews was doing though.

JRid
That first Gif looks like Mathews and Roddy White missed their blocks. The second Gif is about as bad as it gets though. Levitre just trips over nothing and Mathews falls over him. I wasn't impressed with Person or Levitre, but they weren't horrible. I think/hope they will continue to improve quickly. raysnill1
let's cut him. if he's making mistakes like this after being on the team 10 days, then he's not worth anything to us.

harveybirdman
What pisses me off the most in that last giff is that Julio would have been wide open on play action. Stupid call.Hope the whole line improves.
Romfal
was an upgrade over Stone at least, I'm giving him a few weeks to settle down before I make a full impression, guy just got here
Captain Insano
I think maybe in the first video, jakes feet were tangled up with his..not really clear but it's possible
TheFatboi
you know what the more I look at it, it could have been Toilolo The last one was on Jake Matthews. The blown up one. Levitre had his man blocked.
MACK4ttACK
The last one was on Jake Matthews. The blown up one. Levitre had his man blocked.I don't know man, matthews foot gets stepped on. I'm not an oline coach but I could see it going either way. Either matthews technique was bad and he put his foot in the wrong spot or the DT should not have been able to step on it.
atljbo
He had some struggles but because the guy was with us for one week and starting in a new scheme.... We see the Coaching Staff has already ruled Jake Long out for this week

"The" Donnie Ray
This line just needs time to gel. Against a great front 7 they held up good enough to let matt do his thing. And besides matt is used to this kinda thing. He can cover for their mistakes until they get it together. Or at least that's what I'm hoping for. Either matthews technique was bad and he put his foot in the wrong spot or the DT should not have been able to step on it.His foot getting stepped on isn't levitre's fault. Feet get stepped on all the time lol. Matthews split may have been too wide. All I know is we rushed for over 100 yards as a team. 80 on 20 from Coleman. Matt was sacked only once so the line played admirably to make a last minute makeshift line. No complaints from me. And it'll get better as the season goes. Last years line would've been decimated. 1st game of the season I'm not mad. Need to work on 3rd down but I was pleased with everything else. Especially since the playbook was scaled down to help the newly put together line. Wait til the playbook can open up.
Falconcheff
Hmmmm... you may have something here. Hopefully we can wait until the Eagles cut their entire starting line and pick up Jason Peters since, you know, I'm sure we could find a few plays where Vic Beasley, a rookie, made some nice plays against him... ...Or we could stop being an embarrassment of a fanbase and quit nitpicking a few plays against a guy who's been on the team for less than a week in a game where we won... Califalcon0013
First one looks like he tripped, the third one he atleast kept cox from getting a tackle.now the second one if he held him a sec more he would have been called for holding so idk why you're nitpicking his game when you put 3 horrible example to complain about lol man this message board is full of negative people Edited September 16, 2015 by Califalcon0013
