Whats Up Fellas

whats up fellas, been a long time since i have been on the board. I see not much has changed, we win the first game and we are Super Bowl bound. We lose the first game and were going to go 0-16 and Mike Smith should have never been fired and Dan Quinn sucks lol.

So here is my take on the game and what will be around a 9-7, 10-6 season imo with a possible playoff win, could be a rematch with the Eagles.

First off i want to say that our defense looked great in the first half of the game, Bradford found some holes in the second half but to see our defense close out a game instead of relying on the come back kid like we have had to do from 2008-2012 was a nice change. The biggest improvement i have seen on defense is how well our guys were tackling and yes i know we had "0 sacks!!!" but Bradford took a beating from our defense last night.

Offense looked good in the first half but we scored 2 field goals in the second half, Matt Ryan's second INT was a horrible throw. The first INT u gotta give credit where its due. If not for that 1 handed OBJ like INT that's a touchdown.

Really got Deja Vu in the 3rd qtr, here we are 20-3 lead and now were going to be the same old Falcons and lose 24-20 but we made 2 FGs to keep that from happening and the Eagles were a missed FG away from "Mike Smith should have never been fired, were going 0-16, Dann Quinn sucks! Cut Ryan and sign Vick!!!"

In conclusion, I expect some growing pains here and there but I really do feel that we will finish top 10 in defense this year with the way Quinn has coached that D up and it will be nice to be able to rely on Defense to close out games, Julio Jones is the man obviously, kinda gotta thank the strike for us getting him instead of Fitz so thank you NFL! Coleman will be the real deal but we still need a short yardage back who can pick up those 3rd and 1's against stacked boxes. I think we will have a good team this year and give us a couple more years and we have a great team, we gotta stop letting those half time leads slip away though.

Also i expect a defensive battle against New York and around a 24-17 loss then in will come how much we suck and we are going 1-15.

Just curious but did you watch the giants game? If so what did you see that makes you give them the edge over the falcons?

i did watch the game and i dont think they have an edge exactly but i saw a lot of mistakes they made that i know will be corrected before next sunday and i'm going mostly on an "any given sunday" agenda, that was a tough loss to the cowboys and i feel like this game is pretty big for new york, i think it will be a tight game now if we blow the doors off the giants it wont hurt my feelings lol

I just don't see 7 losses...

hey 19-0 sounds good to me ;)

The giants looked horrible on offense and defense. They found a way to lose a game that the cowboys desperately tried to give them. Did you see the article where Eli/Coughlin told the RB not to score on their final drive because they didn't want to give the ball back to the cowboys?

If you get a chance watch the whole game. The media hyped the outcome up because we'll it's the cowboys but both teams looked very bad. They hype Romo up for being "clutch" but neglect to mention that his 3 turnovers led to 17 points. Coughlin was channeling his inner Mike Smith and was coaching not to lose instead of playing to win so of course he lost. His most bone headed call was letting eli throw it on 3rd down with 1:57 left when he had already decided he was going to kick the field goal. Result of the play...incomplete pass stopping the clock leaving the cowboys with a minute and a half to march down the field and score. In hindsight he was right not to trust his defense lol. Philly's secondary looks better than the giant's so that should tell you something
