FentayeJones
Yeah. He was suppose to be a Swiss army knife on defense. LolDont forget "Key Cog" and " Nolan's Chess Piece". But seriously, he made a good play on that FG attempt.
Sheldon Cooper
He replaces Schofield on run downs and does a good job of knifing though.

red falcon
We always find a reason to hype this guy. Other than last night when is the last time he did something on teams? Bosher puts everything through the endzone. They didn't start driving until we put kroy in.
sandtrap
There's no doubt he's one of the best, if not the top (now with Antone gone), guy on ST... but he shouldn't see the field at any other point in the game unless it's a blowout. The guy got his shot years ago because of his ST play, it's just that he hasn't done anything to prove he belongs anywhere other than ST.Eric Weems should knock you out. DoYouSeeWhatHappensLarry
What does Sproles count as then?Matchup RBs man. He's a running back whose sole presence on the field to create nightmares for opponents. Bierman on Sproles isn't a nightmare...it's a night terror. Fiddlin John Carson
He is actually very decent if he is asked to just rush Yeah...when he plays against lesser ot's. But against above average and better ot's...he aint got it no more. Yeah...he can still knife through on occassion and bring some pressure....when the ot totally blows his block. Other than that...he gets manhandled...he does not have the strength to stand his ground on run plays. He cannot contain his edge. He cannot tackle in space.I liked him when he first came on board. He had more explosiveness off the ball. He had more leg strength to hold his position. I dont know what happened.

TTU Falcon
But why is he being asked to cover anyone, not his fault the play required him to "cover" Sproles. What do you expect him to do in that situation? Its a massive mismatch, thats a playcalling issue if you ask me. Yeah hes not that great of a player but what do you expect of him against someone like Sproles?
Guest Mr Plow
Maybe it's got something to do with the fact that he led our team in sacks last year?
jeffro2000
He is like Allen Rossum to me at this point. I wanted Rossum gone for years, despite his return ability, because every year he was forced into action @CB and was terrible. Kroy can't play in space. He does have a bit of value as a backup pass rusher. He has a motor so he can come in for a few snaps and possibly be effective. However, I just want him gone completely so there is no way he can be out there in coverage. He is needed right now, so hopefully he has a good game Sunday.
primetime
Biermann is an ok situational backup player that offers the team versatility at Slb, DE and Leo. He's no world beater but he's ok provided you don't ask too much if him (such as cover quick rb's). Below is a quote from the Eagles oline (this is posted in another topic)'Kelce said linebacker Kroy Biermann kept him from getting out on Worrilow'Provided he does his job and this coaching regime understands his strengths and weaknesses he can be useful parts player for us. Remember he'll see a lot less time when Reed returns.

B3TD
I think a lot of people forget the Biermann was cut before they made FA moves, and only resigned him once they couldn't upgrade any more. This is not like the last regime's sacred cows. He's already been cut once, so he's not going to get a long leash if he sucks.

MD-FalconFan13
Posted this in another thread. But Kroy really let the defense down. He "might have" made a play or two, but sucked for the large majority of the game. When the Eagles couldn't move the ball at all they went to where KB was lined up and consistently found success. Almost as if they game planned for it. Read the following in an article today:One area that stood out negatively was Kroy Biermann. Once he was spotted in coverage, Bradford immediately picked on him and was very successful in doing so. Add in the missed tackles and Biermann simply wasn’t very effective defensively. Brooks Reed was sorely missed in this regard.POSTED BY: CHAD WALTON 9/19/

Funny thing is, even though he had a bad grade KB still graded out better than Willy Mo.
