Bawse
Forget this running back by committee BS... the dude is the real deal. He's got power, speed, elusiveness and great vision. Creates extra yards out of nothing. He's got it and i'm impressed. You can tell the difference between him and Freeman easily. Like night and day. xiv_T_E_C_O_
Coleman looked good running the ball but Free had some nice catches outta the backfield.
cb5639
Come on KOG, I'm pretty sure the dude is saying that he ran like a dude tonight. Not just becaus our freeman couldn't play in the preseason. Personally I liked the way Coleman ran tonight.
Knight of God
Freeman had 1.8 ypc. 10 carries and 18 yds. He is a utility back. Nothing wrong with that. We just need another back, a pounder to help out some.
Falconsfan567
Coleman already is. He had 20 carries and Freeman had just 10.http://espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=400791596

Coleman is good but he can't carry the load alone and Freeman is exactly like Jacquizz Rodgers.
Eight Track
I think Coleman won the job tonight

Psychic Gibbon
20 carries 80 yards 4ypc...**** yeah.Considering the O-line blocking for him that line is fantastic.

Guest Dirty Bird Nation ®
He played well no doubt, but he's still below Michael Turner imho. Won't turn into a big name anytime soon, but will be solid.
MilleniumFalcon
He looks like the real deal, he should get the majority of carries the rest of the season.
SavvyFalcon89
Wow did we even have a game were our backs averaged 4.0 yards a carry last season?
Zakelsta30
The thing I love about Coleman, is that he fell forward, or even dove forward for 2-3 extra yards. I've been dreaming for a back to do that here for a decade. I'd love to see Tevin as our main guy, with Freeman as a 3rd down/rest backup. Falconsfan567
Considering the O-line blocking for him that line is fantastic. The O-line was fantastic? Far from it. There were many times there was a man in the backfield when Coleman got the ball, especially up the middle because Person is garbage, and Coleman made him miss and got positive yards. Freeman couldn't.

hjerry
Freeman had some nice catches and even a few nice runs, but it's clear who the better fit for this offense is, and that's Coleman.
