I Think Gradkowski Is Starting By Week 3

Watching the last pre-season game for the Broncos I was able to get a really good look at Gino. I think with Gino work in the ZBs in Denver this off-season I don't see a huge learning curve. He looked solid against the run and pass. We must have felt some type of way about him to release Hawley. I like Stone I think he is better than Hawley long term. I also think he has some developing to do. I could see a situation where stone starts because of his familiarity with the playbook and I don't think you want Andy L and Gino starting together week 1. Stone I going to have a major battle on his hands.

Our starting O-line by Week 3

LT - Matthews

LG - ANDY Levitre

C - Gino Gradkowski

RG - Chris Chester

RT - Ryan Schraefer

let me get this straight. So Gary Kubiak goes from Baltimore to Denver, trades a 4th round pick for this guy, then he loses the starting C job to Matt Paradis(who? exactly), not only that, the Texans cut James Ferentz(who? exactly) and he gets cut from the 53 for that guy, and you want him starting by week 3. We are ******.

Matt Paradis is a 2014 6th round pick for Denver who couldnt make the 53 last year, James Ferentz is a UDFA in 2014 with no NFL game experience. Just to let that sink in further.

I bet he starts right away. He was the starting center for the ravens, and they run a zbs.

i think the concern is why did the broncos waive him after trading away a fourth round pick to get him. even if he was beat out for a starting role, why not keep him as a back up? they grabbed someone else who had just been cut to fill his roster spot

If Gradkowski starts for us Quinn, Shanahan and TD all deserve to get fined. Gradkowski sucks. It's pretty sad how we keep acquiring others teams junk instead of bringing in legit talent.

to be fair, nobody is cutting legit talent right now, but yes i see your point...why cut our own junk, then sign somebody else's junk

ravens fans today said they were surprised they could even get anything for him and that they would rather have Peter Konz than this guy back.

Fans here don't care about what other teams fans have to say. I brought up Levitre, Polumbus and Chesters play from the mouths of people who watched there every game just to be told every excuse there is. It's sad really.

Let's be real... The oline hasn't been a source of confidence for a while but right now it's downright scary. It's like the island of misfit toys right now. Someone is either going to look like a genius or a complete idiot in a few weeks.

people would just rather eat some new **** than the one they've been eating for months, even tho it tastes the same.

Not even that. Why dint we address the needs in the offseason when we all knew it was an issue. We brought in a Chester, Polumbus and Person all of whom should be back ups or not on a roster at all (Polumbus and Person). Then a week before the season starts we bring in Levitre and Gradkowski. One has been who's fell off hard and one scrub. It's a joke.

And what legit talent is out there available for the Falcons to sign?

And don't you dare say Jake Long!!

Nothing is available now that's why I'm mad we waited so long to address a huge need. We should have brought in 2 olineman through either the FA or the draft. Now we're stuck with garbage.

Person looked Horrible at Center and Stone looked Horrible at Guard. I hope that Person is not starting.

Person did not look horrible at center. He started against that as beatin MIA front four and only gave up one hurry. He had a better overall PFF rating at center than Stone, who started against BAL and gave up a sack.
