Stepdaddy
The flurry of moves this week by the Falcons has really hurt my brain a little. In a vacuum I really like all of them, the only issue is why did it take so long? Levitre has been rumored to be on the block for weeks and Gradkowski had been replaced as a starter for a while as well. It was obvious we weren't happy with line since otas with the way guys were shuffled around. If Quinn and co. knew changes had to be made why in gods name wait until 7 days before the season starts. The timing of everything just seems so strange.I think our line inevitably ends up as Matthews, Levitre, Stone, Chester, Schraeder but realistically we could have had the guys playing together for weeks now. NateDogg1215
It will be a work in progress like most teams . Look at Broncos for example. Making moves as of last week too.

Everyone else you listed has been here since OTAs.

MAD597
Yea my only issue with these moves is the timing. Should have done this after the second pre season game and given these new guys a little time to gel. As is now these moves could easily cost us our first 3 games shuffling things around on the OL so much.

This line will struggle all year as they acclimate to each other and to the OZBS.

RunningThePiszOuttaTheBall
On the one hand, it seems reckless letting Hawley go, sitting Asamoah, trading for a guy who had a bad year and taking someone who was released to be your starting center. On the other hand, we had serious problems, and at least they are *doing something*. But realistically, is it going to work? I guess we're about to find out. MR Falcon
The Titans probably wanted to much the whole time, but near the end made the trade. It might be a couple of weeks before the new guys play on the 1st team, they have to learn the play book.

Lornoth
I really don't understand the coaches thinking here. Now the only centers that could start are Stone who didn't take a single snap at Center this season until last week, or Person who botched every other snap he attempted. Why did we wait so long, if there was even a possibility that Hawley wouldn't be ready to go? We really messed this up.
Lornoth
I think all of this has Shanahan written all over it. He's bringing in his guys. And it's obvious that we went into panic mode on OL after the Phins game. If it's Kyle I'm disappointed. I thought he had better vision than this. This seems like a bunch of last minute panic over things we should have had figured out a month ago.
