The Denver Post reports the Falcons have expressed interest in free agent Montee Ball.

Specifically, beat writer Troy Renck says the Falcons have "some" interest. Renck reports multiple teams have reached out. Ball would provide a rugged between-the-tackles element that Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman both lack, but has obviously been a plodder through his first two NFL seasons. At best, he'd be a part of a committee in Atlanta. It's possible he'd be little more than Week 1 insurance for Freeman, who is nursing a hamstring injury.

Oh yeah, We need another rb who has a 3.4 or less average.

CBS 4 Denver's Vic Lombardi reports the Broncos are discussing a Montee Ball trade with the Cowboys.

Ball had a highly unimpressive preseason in Denver's zone-rushing attack, but the Cowboys have long been high on his ability and could put him into a rotation with underwhelming Joseph Randle, and injury-prone Darren McFadden. We suspect Ball wouldn't cost more than a seventh-round pick. 24 years old, Ball has a 4.2 yards per carry average with 29 catches through two NFL seasons.

Broncos lost their two best lineman this offseason. One to injury and the other in FA. Getting 3rd and 4th string reps with that line is like getting 3rd or 4th string reps with ours. The line was at fault too.

He can't be worse than Ward and besides he provides that bigger presence in Goal-line and short yardage situations when ZBS is not going to help as much

The bolded is all I would want him for. He doesn't need to come be the savior of the ground game like we wanted SJax to be.

I like Ball better than Ward.

Also, this.
