FalconJim
Should we try to bring one, or both of these guys back? To me, Coffman was a decent TE --- good blocker, and caught several nice passes during his time here (had a touchdown or two, I think) ---As far as Mass goes --- I liked the guy, but with what we have now, I can't see he'd be an upgrade at all.I know being cut by the (possibly) lowly Titans says a lot about these guys, but we do need another TE, especially.Anyway, here's the article, from NFL.com ---The Titans also announced they claimed inside linebacker Steve Johnson from Denver and outside linebacker David Bass from Chicago off waivers. The team also waived linebackers Justin Staples and Jonathan Massaquoi along with tight end Chase Coffman to make room on the roster. Mid-Nite-Toker
If you need 3 tight ends(I don't believe we do)...I could see taking a look at Coffman.

FalconsFanSince194eva
One below average player and one average player. Dime a dozen cuts. I hope for the best of this guys, but I'm glad they are no longer on the time.

Mr. Hoopah!
I hear Chris Chandler, Doug Johnson, and Kurt Kittner are available at backup QB too.
RS91
Definitely. Quinn only cut Massaquoi after less than a month on the job to motivate him, and Coffman had that one game where he caught 3 passes. He'd be the next Kellen Winslow or Tony Gonzalez if someone gave him a chance.
