Radiohead
This guy was a prime free agent a few years back and now they're giving him away for a 6th Round Pick after he dropped out from the 1st Teamers and the Titans are getting rid of his ridiculous contract.Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to have any other bodies to put in and play OG, but did we really come out on top here? Psychic Gibbon
Hopefully a return to a ZBS revitalizes him because he was a flop with the Titans.

He only looked bad because the titans switch schemes to one he wasn't comfortable with

birdman71
Good trade. If we can sign a veteran corner to go with tru, alford and phillips. We will almost be set. They need to do something about the backup qb position.
ryanadonis
LG---That's Stone and/or Person TerritoryI am starting to wonder if people are actually watching the games. It's clear as DAY that Person is natural at LG and Stone is natural at C. They were playing each other's positions to get experience before the regular season

It looks like Quinn was experimenting with versatility (which failed miserably at Miami). Stone looked real good at C and Person seems serviceable. It's clear as DAY that Person is natural at LG and Stone is natural at C. They were playing each other's positions to get experience before the regular seasonI like Stone at Center, Person at Guard, Levitre at Guard, Matthews and Schraeder at Tackle. Hawley is a decent Guard as well. Not the ideal line but enough to get it done in the NFCS.

Stone looked real good at C and Person seems serviceable. You've got to, the G/C/G positions need be versatile enough to play for each other, Quinn PROBABLY saw what happened in the Vikings game last year, that can't happen again. That was a winnable game before the injuries.

I had been suspicious that he was doing it all the while, but when game 3 came, I was expecting to see everyone at their natural positions. With this trade and what I saw from Coleman and the line last night...I'm feeling much more comfortable about what the offense wants and needs to do this season. Sheldon Cooper
Love the aquisition but the deal looks better if TD gets roughly the same in return for Asamoah.

dozer
Love the signing. I bet Matt sleeps a little better tonight. Falcons acquired LG Andy Levitre from the Titans in exchange for a 2016 sixth-round pick and 2017 conditional pick.Good job by Titans GM Ruston Webster to find someone to take on Levitre's contract AND get something in return. Levitre was signed to a six-year, $46.8 million contract in 2013 but wasn't a fit in coach Ken Whisenhunt's offense. He was replaced at left guard by fellow veteran Byron Bell. Levitre is still just 29 and had a ton of success in Buffalo before Tennessee.Going back to a zone-blocking scheme like Falcons OC Kyle Shanahan's should help a lot. Levitre should step right into the lineup ahead of Mike Person. The rest of the Falcons' line: LT Jake Matthews, C Joe Hawley, RG Chris Chester, RT Ryan Schraeder.Source: Profootballtalk on NBC SportsSep 4 - 12:22 PM
Dirtybird56
Watching Levitre's film from this pre-season. He looks alright but more importantly like he can move well.. Don't see much limitation from the hip/knee in terms of him getting out on the run and blocking at the second level. TEN didn't have many snaps like this though, with them shifting to a power scheme this year
