bigbabygrady
It's just media speculation stemming from the awful performance from the o-line on Saturday. Quinn's comments are just coach-speak. They don't lead me to believe we are seriously considering signing him

Sun Tzu 7
Why would they want to sign him with all of the depth we have on the oline?
Xfactor
What does it take to get some O-Line help wow
NateDogg1215
The last 2 years pathetic Oline is not enough to bring in more help?
TeamPlayer1
Just think..we have Matt Ryan and Jake Long. What a draft!!!

PHALCONABERNATHY
We have a great o line. Why would we want to sign him? 😒/purple
Rise
Falcons aren't paying him--for what he's probably asking for...He doesn't want to back-up.. It's so late, he probably won't start game 1 or 2....
Oldskooler
Does the Falcons front office believe that offensive linemen have cooties? That just any big lumbering fat guy will do?Why does the team leadership (from Blank to Shanahan and everyone in between) just not take winning seriously? Are they so clueless as to think that the line isn't important? How can this failure continue on and on for almost a decade? They have brought in a LOT of o-linemen, just not one that has PROVEN to be good since Blalock--- who was from the McKay era.Even Matthews is probably going to be good, but it's not a guarantee, either. If nothing else, his continuous string of injuries are a threat to his career. He hasn't been 100% since week 1 of last year. Maybe not even 80% over that span. I also think he would provide quality depth along that oline. and hey if he wins a starting spot he deserves it
Sponge
He's better with bad knees than most of this Oline healthy.

hjerry
Don't sign him just to sign someone. Sign him if he's the right guy, not b/c the fans want you to.

ramonezy
Not sure if some of us accept the fact that we are a rebuilding team... we're going to have holes that can't be filled in one off season. No need to jump at every over-the-hill OT.
Guest Gritz
I'm pretty sure the Falcons are going to wait until the final cuts are made by all teams. That way the quality of available OL talent will be substantially better.About Long: With the lack of OL talent all over the league you have to remember that Long hasn't signed with anyone else either.Something tells me he (Long) isn't all that any longer.
