Truth B Told (TRU)
Behind a garbage Washington Redskins line (with exception of Trent Williams). LT - Trent WilliamsLG - Kory Lichtensteiger C - Will Montgomery RG - Chris ChesterRT - Tyler Polumbus We have 2 of their garbage players on our team now with a talented LT of our own. If Shanahan could help muster up 1600 yards for Morris in Washington, he should be able to do something for Freeman and Coleman. He should have plenty of teaching points from tonight's game. pzummo
Morris averaged 5ypc in that Preseason, and the Redskins averaged 4.5ypc as a team that Preseason. We are averaging 1.9ypc this Preseason...
Dizzle
You are not taking into account that those guys were 2-3 years younger then, perhaps how long they had played together prior to Morris getting there as opposed to our unit just coming together this offseason. GeorgiaBoyz
With a gimmick QB who ran a lot of triple option as well. /Thread
since68andcounting
RG3's presence.Yep. The threat of the back side bootleg forced the weak side DE to stay home. That made the stretch more effective. Same deal we had with Vick. They need to let Ryan run the boot occasionally. He doesn't need to run for 40 yards. Just a first down will do. It will help Matt's confidence and put that thought in the defense's head.

But I will take 1100 yards. That's about what Alfred Morris got last year albeit a different offense.
