Og/oc Battle Tonight.

Recommended Posts

Quinn said they are still tinkering with match ups inside.

To me Chester is a push over in pass pro with no base. Asamoah is the superior OG in that regard. Asamoah looks rough run blocking on the move which is where Chester figures to have the upperhand due to experience.

In all of this Hawley looks like the best OC while Stone looks like the LG to me no doubt. Person is good as OG depth only which presents a problem. Konz has a good shot as back up OC and could be active on game day over Person because of snapping to the QB. Ryan Seymour might be able to beat Konz out of back up job or even Person if he can play G a well as C.

I would rather see Chester as good experienced depth and Asamoah catch on to the run blocking.

IMO Chester had a bad game last week. Stone had some bad plays, but also some good ones (hate to say it, but that balances out as a bad game too).

Either these guys need the light bulb to suddenly click, or we need some other options. I'm thinking they need to promote Asamoah and deal with the fact he's not everything they want in the zone blocking run scheme.

And I wish we'd get some help. I don't know how or who, but I don't think we're in great O line shape.

The only OC on this team is Kyle Shanahan.

C and G. No O as there is no D counterpart...

and yet we have Wide Receivers with no Narrow Receivers

why the W

we have Tight Ends with no Loose Ends can we drop the T

we have Defensive Ends but no Offensive Ends can we drop the D

IF C means Center ---Does CB mean Center Back

They are split out wide smh...

That is so ignorant it hurt me.

It's called a CORNER "C" BACK "B" put those together and see what you get

OG I don't see where that contradicts any other position

No one calls it a offensive center it's just the center so C

and C is a center but CB is corner back. If we use your ignorant logic then the world would be in chaos.

I did not establish the logic Capologist did I was just trying to show where it lead

He just said C and G there is no need for a O as there is no defensive counterpart. He never said all C's mean center like you tried saying

and extending his "logic" if there is no need for an O in front of the C why is there a need for a W in front of receiver etc

come on man don't you know how to have a little fun

Capologist knows what I was doing

The W one actually made sense but the others.. nah..

exactly but that's where his position would lead you --"logically"

Oh for the good old days when we had Split Ends and Tight Ends and Defensive Ends

and we did not know what a Wide Recievr was

and Half Backs and Full backs and Up backs and Blocking Backs and no Running backs
