Jaymadd
I have Brandin Cooks on one of my fantasy teams. I starting thinking about him having a great year and I remembered that he plays for the Saints. What would u want to happen in this scenario. Your Falcons are playing the Saints for the final wildcard spot and your fantasy team is playing for the fantasy championship the same week. The playoffs for the Falcons and your championship are down to one play. The saints win with a Td and your fantasy players wins the championship for you with a Td. Normally real football triumphs fantasy but you can win money if you win your fantasy championship. What amount of money does it take for you to root for your fantasy player instead of the Falcons. The things that make you go hmmmmm. Just a Day in the Mind of Jaymadd
Tribal Chief
Wouldn't make me go hmm at all. If he's healthy I'd start cooks and go for what I know.

Tribal Chief
No answers in code bruh lol. Please give a detailed answerI wouldn't have a problem starting a saint against the falcons if the championship is on the line and you can win money. If he's one of the best options available, he's starting. Period
GTFalcon25
If the Falcons were already eliminated from the playoffs, I would root for my fantasy team. Otherwise, never root for the fantasy team above the real team.At the end of the day, it doesn't matter. What happens would have happened regardless. Atlfanstckndenver
I ALWAYS root for my team first. Even over fantasy success. Any day of the week. That said, I have no problem starting players that play against the Falcons. If i have drew Brees for example (ughhh) I'll play him but still ***** got every passing td the Falcons give up. B3TD
I've had people say to me for years that they can't see how I can play multiple fantasy leagues without it causing conflicts.I have ways to alleviate that too, but if you have a conflict strong enough to make you indecisive, then just stop rooting and see what happens. It's not like what you want to happen has any influence on the outcome anyway. Id call it a good problem if I won no matter what. But it would take a lot of money for me to even care about my FF over the Falcons championship hopes. Money comes and goes, but we may be lucky to get one championship in our lifetime, as cursed as this franchise has been. I will enjoy every minute of it, just like the 2012 and the few other runs. BleedBlack&Red
I just couldn't. I would start him hoping he'd rake in 2 TDs. If Brees only throws two the whole game then the Falcons should win in real life. Falcons 17 or 21 to 14 with Cooks having both TDs.
putnam6
I'm always gonna pull for a Falcons Super Bowl win over the fantasy stuff( especially if it's just 2 grand) but **** I rarely draft Saints when they are playing the Falcons. Both sides rarely put up massive individual numbers. LOL can remember drafting Graham one year and Birds did a **** good job of shutting him down. I draft the best player available. I haven't ran into a situation where I was forced to decide between My Falcons and fantasy but I do know real life supercededs football and fantasy. dozer
Easy, trade him (for Julio?) or hope the aints lose the game but Cooks scores @ least once for you.But I never end up with any aints on my team(s).

Seriously though, I do pick up Saints/Bucs/Panther players occasionally, but bench them when they play us. But under NO circumstances would I want any one player on my fantasy roster to play well enough to affect the outcome of the game.If the player plays well, and we win - fine. But, I'd never, ever, ever take any amount of winnings over the Falcons moving on in the playoffs - especially if it's the championship game.I've waited 50 freakin' years for that big win - and I'll be damned if I want to see the opportunity go to the Saints again! iQue
I have him in a big money league and I'm starting him every week he's healthy and not on bye. I wouldn't be "rooting" for him but money is the motive

Thanksfully i will probably never have to make this choice.
