I Got A Question For My Falcon Fans That Play Fantasy

Recommended Posts

I have Brandin Cooks on one of my fantasy teams. I starting thinking about him having a great year and I remembered that he plays for the Saints. What would u want to happen in this scenario. Your Falcons are playing the Saints for the final wildcard spot and your fantasy team is playing for the fantasy championship the same week. The playoffs for the Falcons and your championship are down to one play. The saints win with a Td and your fantasy players wins the championship for you with a Td. Normally real football triumphs fantasy but you can win money if you win your fantasy championship. What amount of money does it take for you to root for your fantasy player instead of the Falcons. The things that make you go hmmmmm.

I've had people say to me for years that they can't see how I can play multiple fantasy leagues without it causing conflicts.

I have ways to alleviate that too, but if you have a conflict strong enough to make you indecisive, then just stop rooting and see what happens. It's not like what you want to happen has any influence on the outcome anyway.

Id call it a good problem if I won no matter what.

But it would take a lot of money for me to even care about my FF over the Falcons championship hopes. Money comes and goes, but we may be lucky to get one championship in our lifetime, as cursed as this franchise has been. I will enjoy every minute of it, just like the 2012 and the few other runs.

I'm always gonna pull for a Falcons Super Bowl win over the fantasy stuff( especially if it's just 2 grand) but **** I rarely draft Saints when they are playing the Falcons. Both sides rarely put up massive individual numbers. LOL can remember drafting Graham one year and Birds did a **** good job of shutting him down.

2 g's means different things to different people so you can't just sh*t on two grand like it ain't anything. I draft the best player available. I haven't ran into a situation where I was forced to decide between My Falcons and fantasy but I do know real life supercededs football and fantasy.

Dude, you are out of your mind of Jaymadd! tongue.png

Seriously though, I do pick up Saints/Bucs/Panther players occasionally, but bench them when they play us. But under NO circumstances would I want any one player on my fantasy roster to play well enough to affect the outcome of the game.

If the player plays well, and we win - fine. But, I'd never, ever, ever take any amount of winnings over the Falcons moving on in the playoffs - especially if it's the championship game.

I've waited 50 freakin' years for that big win - and I'll be damned if I want to see the opportunity go to the Saints again!

I think money can make you go out of your mind lol. When i am ballin like you Tandy i am more than likely to side with you but in my current situation money talks a little louder than other things. Thanksfully i will probably never have to make this choice.

I can understand where you are coming from, but I hope you won't be playing for money with money unless you treat it like what it is - a luxury!
