lju713
I like 44 on him....but im old school. Im use to pass rushers with 50-99. Spruill was just released and 51 would like nice on him.

~SEAMILL~
For some reason the team store and NFL shop seem to think so. For some reason they haven't released jerseys yet waiting on the "league to approve his number". Of course the team shop doesn't have Trufant jerseys either but the have Freemen. paulitik
Keep the 44. It's different.
raysnill1
keep #44 since the league is allowing LBs to wear 40 numbers this year
lju713
are they allowing them to do it if a 50# is not available or??? I have seen other rooks in 40#s too,but i heard he didnt like the number.
RHEC
I think he stated he will keep the number because 4+4=8 (falcons pick)
FenixFalcon
I think he stated he will keep the number because 4+4=8 (falcons pick)Yes he picked the number because that was his draft position, said it was his lucky number and because he said if he had been taken any higher he wouldn't be a Falcon (his favorite team). Obviously is very meaningful to him so I wouldn't count on him changing that number. Edited August 26, 2015 by FenixFalcon

Not like he can just have 53...besides I agree with 44 looking unique. It's new to them this season and it Beasley is new to us, so why the heck not? hjerry
MaybeI can assure you that at least a few will change their numbers at the onset of the 53. It happens every year.

Wjcorner
Well at least I know the season is almost here when people are complaining about a rookie's number choice.
GEORGIAfan
He could have easily taken 53 with that logic. 5+3 also equals 8 and his college number was 3. I think he wanted 44, because 53 was available last I checked. Bradford(who currently has 53) is a new guy this offseason. I doubt there would have been any problems letting beasley take the number over him.
FentayeJones
Maybe. There will be 37 numbers freed up in the next couple of weeks-some in the 50s and 90s.

I remember at least one 50s number being available. So many he does take it from Bradford before the season starts. I do think 53 would be a better fit for him, if 8 is suppose to be significant. newgafatboy
i know this isnt exactly falcons related but the greatest sports figure in Atlanta history also wore 44.... Hammering Hank... what better number could there be for a "HITTER" Edited August 26, 2015 by newgafatboy
Monolith2001
Wasn't a fan 44 initially but the more I see it on him, it looks like it belongs. Thought about buying a jersey back when he first got it but decided to wait to see if a) he changed and he played well enough to make my investment involved.
