MAD597
He is doing good regardless of his stat line. HE has a first step as fast as advertised has disrupted a lot of plays and actual bull rushed an OL into the QB allowed Clayborn to get a sack. Pretty limited number of snap so far. Seems like the real deal and a big part of our vastly improved front 7.

Sun Tzu 7
Doing compared to Shane Ray and everyone else from his draft classPretty good.I think he's the only one playing consistently against the 1st string and I think Ray, Gregory, & Dupree have been playing more snaps against the back-ups.Williams looks pretty good. Theyhateme : )
"Beastly" made a "ridiculous" spin move on Ferguson, hurried the OB and cause him to just get rid of the ball. It was quick and nasty. The replay guys didn't pick up on it though. Vaughn (ESPN), Atlanta Falcons beat writer saw it and mentioned it in an article. He also, stunted from the end up through the middle and batted down a pass. He's getting pressure and allowing others to shine as well. DonDaLuvMaker
Beasley was the one who caused the Mariota int in game 1.He tipped the pass, which led to the pick by Durant.

BoCock
Good question, to be answered in about 20 weeks, but so far:Leonard Williams safety of Yates v. Falcons best play so far was more a missed o-line assignment, but looks like the real deal;Dante Fowler, torn ACL, done this year;Bud Dupree, bust. lol;Shane Ray, looks good, but may be injury prone;Randy Gregory, 2 games, 2 sacks. steal of a 2nd round pick.Beasley, love what I see so far, goes for whole defense. Lornoth
Randy Gregory, 2 games, 2 sacks. steal of a 2nd round pick.Maponga can say the same thing. Would he have been a 2'nd round steal?
Bobby.Digital
Bealsey - He's playing really well. When he's not getting doubled team he's constantly causing pressure.Dupree - The only thing he has going for him is his athleticism. Other than that he looks lost in the field. Hated him as a prospect coming out and am not suprised at all by his underwhelming performance.Gregory - Having himself a really nice preseason. Has 1 sack, has about 3-4 pressures and drew 3 holding calls. He is struggling in the run game however mostly due to his weight. He's going to make alot of people who were doubting him look bad. Ray - Haven't been able to watch him play. So I cant really speak on him.
xiv_T_E_C_O_
I thought Beasley had so much ceiling it was a certainty he'd be a bust, its still early but so far the kid seems to be living up to the hype. He's explosive off the snap, a matchup problem, and that spin move... Wow.
dozer
Beasley won most of his snaps vs D'Brickshaw in the Jets game. He looks like the real deal & our front 7 are all playing more aggressively & looking great.
BoCock
Maponga can say the same thing. Would he have been a 2'nd round steal? No, he has played more than 2 games, and wasn't a 2nd round pick. You see, I employed a complicated metric measuring unmeasurables in reaching my conclusion. Not this year he hasn't. And I know he wasn't a second round pick, that's the entire point. They were both playing against backups though, that's a nice measuring metric. DonDaLuvMaker
And just to think, opposing offenses will have to deal with both him and Clayborn. It's like a dream come true if everything pans out.
