since68andcounting
Last year he looked like his career was over. Now he looks better than Aaron Donald. A friend said he was out west doing MMA training. Whatever he did, it's working.
rugger8
Playing too heavy will end careers early. The weight he lost has helped a bunch... and playing his position. Not to discount the MMA training- I'm sure that helps DL as much as any position. Keys
Could be the type of defense we're running now allows Babs to do what he does best. After all, that's what Quinn wants to do: Focus on strengths.

FalconsAirMiles
The Under Tackle is good a position for him because he is very good getting through the line and blowing up plays.

The Real Tony G.
Agreed. I think he looks even smaller than when he came in the league but dreads have slimming effect as well haha

papachaz
he does definitely look better. There are a few more players as well who lost weight, are now playing a position they're more suited for and it's showing up for sure!Just gives me another reason to SMH at the last staff and some of the decisions they made
bigbabygrady
just seeing him do what he does best in the preseason games so far has been pretty exciting. Hope he can do this consistently because if he can keep the QB from stepping up in the pocket, a lot of good things are gonna happen for our edge rushers. He does look fresher this year thus far, and hopefully he has a career season. But he is definitely in his grizzled vet years now, so hopefully Jarrett or whomever is behind him on the depth chart can learn from him this year
dmo_dlo
Because some idiot thought he should play end last year.
FentayeJones
Babs is a prototypical one gap disruptive 3 tech. He has always had a fantastic get off so the weight loss as well as the current defensive scheme has him playing to his strengths. I was painful to watch Nolan try to use him has an edge rusher last season - hats not his game.
