k-train
Torn achillesAs much as I hate that team, I know how much it sucks losing a ton of players.Good for our Falcons I guess, but hope they still can make the games interesting.
PokerSteve
We've just gone through a boatload of injuries for two years, let them deal with it and see how they like it.
DurtyBurdz155
Yea you never want to see this. I bet it really sucks to be battling for a job and go down with a season ending injury.
B_Lo_Touchdowns
I never wish injuries on anyone but looks like the injury bug is nesting in Carolina this season.
k-train
Ryan Kalil, their starting C, also left the game with a knee injury. Supposedly it's minor, and he narrowly escaped something much worse.
hjerry
"Starting" is debatable. He was competing with Ealy.Either way though, it certainly hurts their depth.
McSpanker
Go look on their message boards and they couldn't be happier. Because their 3rd stringers came back in the 4th quarter to win the game lol. Chanting 2-0 and how good they are.

Rather recently at that.

Panthers fans have been so obnoxious about winning the division two years in a row that I've started to hate them more than the Ain'ts. Idk maybe it's just because I live in NC so I get exposed to a lot of nonsense from Panther's fans. MACK4ttACK
According to a random new report, Frank Alexander isn't even a big deal. He's almost Kroy Bierman likeDefensive end Frank Alexander: He went from the starting lineup in last Friday's preseason opener against the Buffalo Bills to working with the third team earlier this week. The Panthers were hoping Alexander or Kony Ealy would emerge as the every-down end opposite Charles Johnson, but neither has shown the consistency that suggest this will happen. Ealy continued to work with the first team in practice, so the real pressure is on Alexander, out to prove himself after being suspended 14 games last season for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy. As he said before camp, this season cold be his last chance.http://espn.go.com/blog/carolina-panthers/post/_/id/15137/frank-alexander-and-four-others-that-need-to-impress-when-panthers-face-dolphins

It appears the ascendant third-year player will miss the entire preseason. NCFalconfan
They have bigger concerns at the qb position. Newton still has horrible mechanics, and major accuracy issues and they just paid the guy over 100 million. Good luck with that.
etherdome
I don't wish injuries on anyone. The recent rash in Carolina has hurt them, but let's not get over confident. The Panthers have a formidable front 7. With decent QB play, they have to be considered solid contenders for the NFC South title. I think the Falcons are solid, as well. This could be a two-horse race.

Guest Gritz
It's bad karma to feel good about the injuries to our division rivals. I won't ever do it. I don't care how any other fan or fan base acts.Injuries suck, regardless of whom they happen to.
ki46dinah
Johnson and their linebackers are the only thing that matter imo....their secondary is mostly expendable, and the opposite position of Johnson on the line is not what it was since "The Krakken"

Their edge rush obviously isn't as good as before but everything else is still stout.

MAD597
Considering we had had 10 + guys on IR at key positions each of the last two years I'm not going to shed a tear for any NFC south team that starts getting the injury bug. Sucks for the player but I have no empathy for the actual team. No one cried tears for us when we hade to move our starting TE to RT in the Vikings game.
