lju713
Just being honest. Lets cut bait with the QBs and get Matt a real backup. Yates looks shook on every dropback. He is an inaccurate, turnover machine. Renferee is young, but i still dont see the "IT" factor. Ward is only getting praise due to the block on VB44 in practice. Looks like a Quiz clone, meaning he is small and slow. That is a horrible combo, and his pass blocking is horrible. Ford and Smith(fumble fingers) look like better options. Far as the OL goes can we pull Jake,Haley,Stone,Asomoah, and Chester to the side, and let the firing squad do their jobs 🔫🔫 Edited August 22, 2015 by lju713
pzummo
Our starting OL has protected Ryan well enough to go 10/11 with 2 TD's and 14.6 ypa. I wouldn't say they're trash. Our backups are trash. And they haven't been great opening up holes for the running game, though that was a massive hole for the TD run I'm not used to seeing from us the past couple of seasons.I'd keep Renfree, as he has looked serviceable. caver50
Our 1st stringers actually look pretty good, but I'm concerned about our running game. Even with good runners, I'm just not seeing the holes.Pass protection for Ryan looked good.
Jesus
You don't need an IT factor from your backup QB. Ward is a possible 4th string back. The oline looks good when it matters we go through so many combinations in the games after the first group comes out they really don't gel well. I can't get too worried when the other teams 1st string D gets handled against our first string O then plays well against our 2/3 string O. Next week and Suh should tell us a lot. Our 1st string offense will be out there at least a half. Edited August 22, 2015 by Jesus
jdawg4876
I have seen a number of holes that the rbs just are not hitting fast enough. take jerome smith, he has good vision and sees the holes just not the speed to get thru it. if that was freeman or coleman they would have gained 7 to 10 yds

coastiemike
Just curious how many back ups in the entire NFL have the "it" factor? Go ahead, I will wait.
lju713
Ever player should have that it factor. Its a reason they are in the NFL and we are on this message board

TheFatboi
Ever player should have that it factor. Its a reason they are in the NFL and we are on this message boardThat's not true. If they all had the "it" factor they'd all be hof'ers. In the music business if they all had that "it" factor they'd all be Michael Jackson, Elvis Pressley, Jimmy Hendrix. There's a difference in being talented and having the "it"factor. Brady has it. Manning has it. Ryan has it. Most backups don't have "it" that's why they are backups. If all the supremes had "it" they wouldn't be the supremes. They'd be Diana Ross.

DaMeatTroughsEgo
Ward should only be kept around until early November so we can have somebody dress as Turner for the team's Halloween party

Im with this guy...Why doesn't Yates run a 4.4 and scramble around with a dark visor on to make the game more exciting??? He shouldnt be in the NFL! Banish him! As well as every other non superstar! You know what...lets just play a year round pro-bowl!
THEHEADCOACH
Ward is not small. Short, but not small. RBs his size are fairly common around the NFL. He's alot like Quizz, but believe he is a little quicker. Freeman&Colemam will be back soon, so it wont matter.
