Seastrunk

Recommended Posts

I was a big fan of the guy coming out of Baylor. Like HUGE fan. I would hope we'd give the guy a shot, he has crazy open field talent, he's a return specialist, and has decent size. I believe he could benefit in a ZBS since he tends to like to run to the outside. I read he frustrated coaches because of this. What say you?

I'm on a cell so I can't post any tape on him

Tuck the tape. This is all you need to know.

Initially drafted in the sixth round by the Redskins in 2014, Seastrunk reportedly "frustrated coaches with his inability to stick with the play that's called," per ESPN.com's Todd Archer, who added: "He freelances way too much and can turn a 2-yard gain into a 5-yard loss. That infuriates coaches."

Two teams with room for backfield help have waved farewell to Seastrunk in less than a year. Despite his saucy talent in open space, he's a stretch to make a 53-man roster in 2015.

I remember a LOT of folks wanting him pretty early. KoG too I think?

No...I never liked that guy. In fact I compared the board love for him to Mike Gillislee. That was FF70 and others. Noooo....LOL!!! Like last year or this off season I mentioned picking him up because we were hurting so bad in the run. But he played in Shanny's system before and sucked...no thanks.

I know Draftnut liked him in that draft, but all he would offer is an undisciplined version of Antone. We don't have a need for that.

Yes I did like him a lot.. Not sure what the guys problem is, He has a lot of talent... Sometimes a player just has rooms for rent,, upstairs if you will ,,, maybe a wrong hit in College shook a screw loose.

The zbs actually requires the opposite for the most part. I realize the play starts by moving laterally, but it's all contingent upon being decisive and making your cut and getting upfield. This system is usually most successful with a north and south type runner. Not a guy who always dances behind the line. Edited by Atlfanstckndenver
