birdz4i
Falcons’ wide receiver Leonard Hankerson has really impressed at training camp. We break down the fantasy implications.Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Leonard Hankerson really impressed coaches throughout training camp this summer, according to ESPN's Vaughn McClure. Hankerson caught one 13-yard pass in the team's preseason game against the Tennessee Titans last week. Hankerson missed nine games in 2014 while recovering from a torn ACL, and was held without a catch in the final seven games after his return.Fantasy Impact: Hankerson was signed by the Falcons in the offseason due to his knowledge of offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan's playbook. The two worked together in Washington the last few years. The five-year pro, who spent the last four years in the nation's capital, appeared in just one game last year thanks to a knee injury. That said, Hankerson is shaping up to be the team's third receiver in an elite passing game, right behind Julio Jones and Roddy White. With Tony Gonzalez now retired and Jacob Tamme at tight end, Hankerson should be more active than Falcons number-three receivers gone by and if White starts to show more of his age in 2015 or Jones should suffer an injury, Hankerson could see his value go up in spurts throughout the season.http://sports.yahoo.com/news/leonard-hankerson-impressing-camp-fantasy-152112888.html
DoYouSeeWhatHappensLarry
He'll start the season on my scout team for sure. If Roddy continues to slow down and/or gets hurt, Hankerson's value will rise to usable WR3 levels, IMO.
