hjerry
Oh by no means am I saying this went one way or another. I'm just telling the things that I've witnessed since being on this board. With me, Swift, R, and a few others. I've noticed how Swift would try to "act right" and a poster would come and try to get him riled up. Then the other sheep would come "crying" to draw attention. I've seen that in just the little time I've been here. It happened to him as well as a few others. Like I said, there's little clicks on here thats sole purpose is to try to weed out anyone with a difference of opinions.Swift made new personas more time than I could possibly remember. Every time that he did, he would go some time before getting pinned again. How did he always get found out? He was always found out, b/c eventually he would revert back to same posting habits. While there may have been a time when he was just a guy with differing opinions, he eventually became the guy that liked pissing people off. It became clear that he found it entertaining, and while part of the blame for that lies with some posters that antagonized him, it eventually reached a point of no return. hjerry
Order. Funny you mentioned that, cause when you have grown (or supposely grown) men on here calling others all kinds of names because of their different opinions, what kind of order is that? How can one come here to "enjoy" if they are being called idiots or **************** with every other typed word? Is that order? Where are the CoC rules when that kind of stuff happens? Who's quoting the rules then?So they'll just let a poster insult another poster all day, every day, but when a poster "clogs" up threads about a player they like when the thread isn't about that player then we must send him on a vacation? It has to do with how distracting something is. If, in a group of people, a few get a little loud sometimes, and use a few curse words, they can usually be ignored/tolerated, but when one person runs in and stars screaming incoherently like a mad man, it draws everyone's attention and not in a good way. It changes the whole feel of the conversation and causes many to give up on it and just leave.

But like ATF11 says about me, "I like to stir the pot". Now, by no means that's saying I'm trying to insult, ridicule, belittle, or make any personal attacks against any posters on here. I just like people to think outside the box. Look at the other side of things. I don't try to push anyone's buttons, but I do find it amusing at time to "stir the pot". To me, it's all in playable fun. Not trying to get people riled up or feathers ruffled. Just alittle humor. But when people start to call me derogatory names, then I take that somewhat personable. I don't cry to mods or anything like that, I just try to avoid those people, cause I know their tricks and most likely they're sheep and trying to do their jobs of rooting out the different thinkers on this board. Flying Falcon
You know, sometimes it's all right to agree to disagree at the end of the day. More people on here may should try that instead of wanting to ban, ridicule, and insult other posters.

More people on here may should try that instead of wanting to ban, ridicule, and insult other posters. It's when a poster reaches a level that they're noticed by the mods without even having to be reported, that is often when they have passed the point of no return. The thing is, when you play with fire, you'll inevitably get burned. Back when Banker did his mass banning, I said that there were probably some that got banned who might've been saved, but they played too close to the line. FenixFalcon
This thread has been so derailed off topic it isn't even amusing. It went from Camp updates, to R hating on Hawley (which he should be happy since Stone is considered a starter, regardless of where he's at on the line), to people hating on R, to talking about whether R deserves to be banned or not, to talking about how he's like swift, to talking about why swift got banned. Really this is the point us "sheep" are trying to make here. You start off throwing an insult and you end up with 2 pages of good posting about the topic and another 6 pages of people B1tching about other things completely irrelevant and unrelated to the original topic. You can't do that. If you want to be a member here, make your statement like how many of us with differing opinions do but you need to respect each others opinions (even if it's the majority) enough not to derail to whole point of the topic. Throwing out insults at members causing other members to get defensive is unnecessary (especially if you hate a player on the roster others tend to like. Players like Biermann who people unanimously hate don't count). You have to choose your battles, and if you can't do that then you don't belong here, end of story. LOL!Nah sometimes when you do it, it's annoying and other times it's funny. Those annoying times I think you do it in bad taste. I personally think you should be careful sometimes, not all the time, with how you stir the pot because it can also be considered "baiting" like how you feel swift and R gets. Can't complain about the smell thing you're doing. Tuggle'2
I find it amazing that I think Hawley is worthless and I am labeled as a troll. NEWS FLASH, I can have my own opinion on any player. Its a free country. Sorry I am not a fan boy of Joe Hawley. I think people take it personal just because its about Joe Hawley. I never once attack any member on here, and when I say Mark, its a wrestling term that fans are called when they believe a fake show is real. If I hated on Peter Konz or Kroy Biermann, it would be ok, but since its lovable Joe Hawley, oh NO ONE can say a bad thing about him. He deserves all the respect and cuddling for being such a fine player. Holy crap stop making stuff up and playing the victim! None of this has anything to do with how you feel about Hawley. Grow up and take some freaking responsibility ... Sheesh.
MAD597
vaughn mcclure @vxmcclure23 3m3 minutes ago Quinn said he wants to give guys a chance to work with 1st unit but that was the first time I've seen Nick Williams with Julio and Roddy Yes this is good, give a better idea of a players talent level to see if they can keep up with the starters. MAD597
The previous 10+ years of trolls running amock here were very bad and ran off alot of good posters from all the nonsense and derails. I much much prefer the new mod regime that acts like actual mods and enforces the COC and doesn;t play coy with trolls. We all know what trolls act like and I'm glad are mods don't put up with it anymore.

JMOLOL!!!! But like I said, I'm not here to give anyone a hard time. For much, this is a place where I learn and find out new things that hasn't been reported yet about my favorite NFL team and waste alittle time to past the day. Not trying to make enemies or take sides. Just flying solo like a Falcon in the sky.

Yes, there are a list of rules, but that's only there for more or less, guidelines. There's only so much that you can put down in the written word. The CoC is more broad than that. It's why you end up with posters, saying that the ones violating the CoC are the ones using curse words, when it's obvious that the other poster was the antagonist. It's simply more complicated than that.A better way to think of the CoC might be something like:Rule #1: Don't be a ****Rule #2: Stop pissing everyone offRule #3: Don't be such an annoying piece of ****Lol
