Oldskooler
Step 1: Fire Yates.Step 2: Talk Brett Favre out of his retirement.Step 3: Give him a playbook that he won't read.Step 4: If/When Matt Ryan gets injured, Favre can finally do something he never did his first time here: play for the team that drafted him.Could Favre, four years out of football, possibly be worse than TJ Yates?Would seeing Favre play if Matt gets hurt keep butts in seats and eyes on tv's? It was intended as sarcasm directed at how badly Yates played.I'm glad everyone so far seems to have realized it was intended as sarcastic humor. NZFalcon
We are gonna be keeping Yates for the rest of preseason atleast. No point cutting the guy to bring in another guy to learn the playbook. Now at the end of preseason is this staffs first TATF test. How do they handle this situation. Cut Yates. Move him to 3rd or keep him at 2nd

If we get into a situation where we need a 3rd qb, Yates will still be available on the street.

AndySG
If we lose our first two quarterbacks then we lose the game. I would rather have Roddy at QB than Yates.
