Solution To Backup Qb

Step 1: Fire Yates.

Step 2: Talk Brett Favre out of his retirement.

Step 3: Give him a playbook that he won't read.

Step 4: If/When Matt Ryan gets injured, Favre can finally do something he never did his first time here: play for the team that drafted him.

Could Favre, four years out of football, possibly be worse than TJ Yates?

Would seeing Favre play if Matt gets hurt keep butts in seats and eyes on tv's?

just a question

Yates played 5X more than Ryan----5X chances for error

Yates played 2.5X more than Renfree---2.5 times chances for error

what would their stats been if they had all played equal time

I don't care about "stats".

Yates never looked comfortable.

He never looked in command of the offense.

He never played with confidence or poise.

He looked and played like a gun-shy, scared rookie.

Are you kidding me? I make a Herschel Walker thread and I get scolded while this guy makes a Farve thread and everything is normal as ever???? WTF is up with TATF logic?

the difference is, everyone here thought (still does) that you were serious in wanting Herschel.

basically, if you had a dollar for every time you didn't know what was going on, you be constantly asking people "why are you giving me a dollar"

Just to make clear what you indirectly said, I was not at ll serious about bringing in Favre. It was intended as sarcasm directed at how badly Yates played.

I'm glad everyone so far seems to have realized it was intended as sarcastic humor.

We are gonna be keeping Yates for the rest of preseason atleast. No point cutting the guy to bring in another guy to learn the playbook. Now at the end of preseason is this staffs first TATF test. How do they handle this situation. Cut Yates. Move him to 3rd or keep him at 2nd

We do not need a #3 qb if it's Yates. Should use the roster spot for... anyone else. If we get into a situation where we need a 3rd qb, Yates will still be available on the street.

Thats what I was thinking they would do but then who would be that emergency 3rd QB if we lost two in a game tho. Toilolo? lol
