Hocus_Pocus
Hardy looks like he's going to have a long, productive career barring injury.

red falcon
As long as Yates doesn't throw behind him he is fine.

vel
Glad he got Renfree to throw him the ball. Yates was making all of the WRs look bad.
*NiteFalcon*
We have 2 promising B receivers to take over the torch from Roddy. Very excited. This probably means Hester's role on offense will be non existent, and ultimately Hester will probably not be around for his 3rd contract year. paulitik
Yates was killing him with all the throws behind him, and he was still getting his hands on the ball. Imagine what he'd look like with Matt throwing to him.

mashburn*Fibonacci
So we just ignoring his slot running here? One fumble drop, one right through his hands? When he stops looking to make a move before securing the catch, I'll be really happy with this guy. But right now, meh is how I feel on him. GleasonForever!
Mash...are you just going to ignore that he had TJ Yates throwing to him, are you going to ignore that its his first pre season game, are you going to ignore that even the greats can't haul them all in? Take off haterade goggles.
Falconsfan567
Some folks are never satisfied. The guy looks good. Why the over analysis?Because he wants to be right on his assessment that the Falcons don't have a good slot receiver on the team.
stizz
Like it.He's a very steady type of WR.Only thing that scares me as a fan is that the addition of he and Hank seems to have scared off Hester. Like Hester may seriously be cut if he doesn't get his mind back in the game and try to contribute anyway. Still like him as a gadget guy on offense and everyone knows what he brings on ST. Romfal
Because he wants to be right on his assessment that the Falcons don't have a good slot receiver on the team.Nick Williams looked pretty good to me. I'm sure Hester would also take some slot snaps when he is back from injury
youngbloodz
He did look good. That ball that hit his chest and was intercepted was the only bad play I remember from him.

End of story.if you are counting the one play where yates threw the ball 2 yds behind him and almost got him decapitated then I dont know what to say. yates was so scared to throw an interception he was basically throwing it into the ground
ki46dinah
Nick Williams looked pretty good to me. I'm sure Hester would also take some slot snaps when he is back from injury Nick is slick, decent hands. When he got signed I was surprised....because it means Shanahan must like him enough to bring him to the Falcons considering he was the one that put him on a roster to begin with. jdawg4876
from an article just postedHardy was used in the slot Friday night against the Titans as he had three catches for 41 yards. (ESPN)Fantasy Impact: Hardy was targeted all over the field as he competes for the coveted third WR spot in this offense with Leonard Hankerson and Devin Hester. In his first action, Hardy looked as advertised. Keep an eye on him the rest of this preseason as he could get consistent looks and playing time versus second-team defenses.
