hjerry
I've read this tweet 500 times and have no clue what he's talking about.I assumed that he meant 111 receptions for 1700 yards.

bigbabygrady
receiving yards are of little concern to me. I want touchdowns. With his leaping ability he should be the primary receiver in the redzone every time Ryan looks to throw. I have no idea why Julio has not been our top redzone threat up to this point but this needs to change!
Falcon Man™
He is going to complete 111 passes for 1700 yards. Apparently he is going to be in the wildcat ALOT...
DoYouSeeWhatHappensLarry
I've got him at 105/1500/8 TDBut I think if he stays healthy, he's got upside to 120/1800/

Guest Negatorris
Yards won't impress me. Julio needs to SCORE way more often than usual. Luckily Shanahan will see to that. Anything less than 13 will be a disappointment tbh.
DoYouSeeWhatHappensLarry
I'm hoping he scores more than 8TDs....Meh. He may, but we've got enough weapons that Matt simply looks elsewhere if Julio gets draped or doubled. Other than me having an interest in his performance for fantasy purposes, I don't really think his TD total defines him.I also incorporated Shanahan's previous offenses...specifically Andre Johnson. Another all time great WR who was never a big TD guy.

I've said it many times...the Falcons had way too many 3 and outs, stalled drives and drives ending in FGs versus TDs.
Yep
Doubt it. Julio could put up those numbers, but once you factor in injuries, us running the ball more, nahhhhhhhh

Atlfanstckndenver
Shanahan really does get a LOT of production out of his primary receivers. Shoot Pierre Garvin had I think 113 catches one year under Shanny.
DoYouSeeWhatHappensLarry
Doubt it. Julio could put up those numbers, but once you factor in injuries, us running the ball more, nahhhhhhhhWe're still going to throw the ball 570 times, at a minimum. That's more than enough targets for him to approach that sort of thing. Yards don't define him either...but 105/1500/8TDs seems a little low, but we've sorta gotten use to it. I've said it many times...the Falcons had way too many 3 and outs, stalled drives and drives ending in FGs versus TDs.We were 6th in the league in terms of red zone TD %....at over 60%. That's historically a top ~5 rate. We also were above average in plays per drive and scoring %. I hope that gets better but there's an upper limit. And I think yards are more indicative of a given WRs production than TDs. TDs are flukey year to year. Yards usually aren't. I don't buy into this stat....because somewhere in the 40% we kicked FGs when we needed TDs and I'm not sure how much of the 60% were against our own crappy division... There's never a situation when you would prefer a FG to a TD. That's a given. The point is, we scored TDs in the redzone at a higher rate than the majority of the league. This idea that there are teams that rip TD after TD, game after game is an unrealistic expectation.
